C4D should have a separate installer in the CC suite. It's third party software that I didn't ask for, is forced onto my pc and requires a separate license for full functionality. This really stinks of an inappropriate business deal made between Adobe and Maxon.
And it's clear Victoria didn't even read your comment, since she doesn't address any of your concerns

There was a comment here, which has now been removed, by a 'Warren Heaton'. This person is a 'community professional' over on the Adobe user forums, and he's been often quite condescending there to anyone opposing this forced C4D integration. Apparently, that wasn't enough, so he also continued here, saying that C4D integration is great and that he would down-vote this issue if the forums allowed it. Below is my response to that comment. I'll just leave it here for reference.

Warren Heaton the 'community professional' again. Trying to influence a vote here really is very inappropriate from your position and not in the best interest of the community. You should be here to represent us and help us.
This 'I would down-vote' snide is another cherry on the cake of your inappropriate comments. Did Adobe really hire you to make contributions like this? I am very curious what your deal with Adobe is and what you are instructed to do.
For anyone interested, there is a thread about this issue on the community forums where this guy is showing his finest qualities: https://community.adobe.com/t5/after-effects/prevent-maxon-cinema-4d-force-install/m-p/11220030
