An updated graph editor would be great to have. Something like Maya's graph editor would be awesome, where you're able to zoom out further than the comp's restrictions to see handles & keyframes that lie outside of the timeline.

This definitely needs some attention. It's SO fiddly to use.
Please give us the easy ability to attach the grid to footage too, and/or points of the grid to tracked nulls. It would make it so much more usable.

Definitely! I don't know how they even forgot to incorporate this, it seems like an obvious thing to put in.

I'm very excited to announce that keyframe color labels, along with a new design for keyframe selection, are now available in public beta!
You'll need to update to version 22.5.0 Build 18 or later to get access. Learn more here: https://community.adobe.com/t5/after-effects-beta-discussions/welcome-to-keyframe-color-labels-in-ae/td-p/12927209
Thank you for all your input. Please give the beta a try and let us know how it's working for you.

I've just come on here to report the same problem and found your post. It's driving me up the wall!
Running the latest version of AE on Windows 10.I need to run the Studio Nvidia driver as it works with RTX with Vray...

I came on here today to try and submit a bug report as the interface and usability in this latest version of AE is shockingly slow and unresponsive. I'm trying to do some fairly simple mograph with type and shapes and the RAM preview sometimes doesn't even respond - so I have to restart the program - multiple times a day. Pressing Numpad "." to preview audio doesn't work half the time, and when it does the timeline indicator doesn't move so I've no idea where I am in the timeline. It takes SO LONG to just move along and up and down in the timeline sometimes.
I swear 99% of my stress at work is caused by Adobe software being slow and just **** at the simplest of tasks, it's so frustrating.
Adobe, sort it out!!

This would be so useful, I'd love just to be able to output as a high or medium quality H264 file straight from AE, without needing to worry about if Media Encoder is going to render it properly, or without having to render a .mov to then convert.
