How about a reply to this topic, Adobe? I know there are people that care, that is working for you! Just a tiny little reply ... yes?! If you can't fix all the bugs and performance issues; you could AT LEAST communicate with us!!

One of the better things Adobe have done in recent-ish years, was the "Just do it" project. Where they fixed a ton of small issues in Photoshop, just added lots of quality of life improvements! I was super happy about this and thought that maybe, just maybe Adobe had actually learnt something. But sadly, have not seen anything like it since. I have tried to communicate this idea to support, but unsurprisingly there's never any reaction to it.

Amazing new neural filers and exotic features is all very nice! But I think we all can agree that we would rather have a functioning basic version of AE or any other Adobe software first! That has bugs and issues fixed, that's been around for 10+ years!! Is this really such a novel concept, Adobe? Or is the source code messed up to the point where most of your programs are unfixable?

@Jordan I have tried to express this to Adobe support as well, which of course they just plain ignored, as expected. Hope you have a great holiday season too and maybe 2022 will be the year when Adobe starts listening... or me just plain switching to a different set of software! 😁

Exactly how I feel Jordan! A majority of suggestions just get buried here! Feels like it's an excuse for Adobe to go; "no one cares about this problem, so we are just going to not fix it!" I need to work, not waste time keeping track of what problems should be fixed or not... this is also why I am paying for my Adobe software!

And now all of a sudden I got this message when opening a project in AE! What is going on now!? Are they trying to force an install of Cinema 4D or actually integrating parts of this program into AE? 😒

@Iván Sárosácz Maybe Magic Bullet is installed by some other software than AE.

There's so many new problems introduced with the major updates, that I hold back with my updates as long as possible to. Also sick of that fact that user data migration STILL isn't working properly when doing major updates... 😒

@Iván Sárosácz Haven't got Magic Bullet in my uninstall list. Are you maybe on Mac?

I am seriously considering to start invoicing Adobe for every time I have to unistall Maxon! I am getting so sick of this!

@Iván Sárosácz I don't think Magic Bullet suite is installed. Maybe there's been a demo of it previously?

@Carl Soderholm Indeed! Another option would be to send them an invoice for time wasted and SSD wear & tear each time we uninstall. 😒

I have been considering to find a way to block the install, but not really sure how to do it nor do I really have the time to mess with it. But I am getting more and more motivated, to be honest!

And it's for every bloody update, I have to uninstall this nonsense, even if its just a bug fix update. PLEASE. STOP. INSTALLING. IT. SILENTLY. ALREADY!

Oh for Gods sake! They are STILL forcing this install! How hard can it be to make it optional!!

@Eric Harris Yeah, if its a full version, fine. But I still want to be able to install it separately. I just uninstalled Cinema 4D for the 865th time! 😵 This is really starting to bug me!

Please make this install opt-in! Also its ALWAYS a BAD idea to silently install something! This shouldn't even have to be voted about! What most likely will happen here is that not enough people vote about this and the issue will disappear into he void and never be fixed! Not sure why I am even writing this, no one at Adobe will ever read it....

@Nate Forster Yeah, I am getting similar symptoms. Seems to be a bit dependent on what type of layers I have. But as the number of layers grow, so does the laag! 😒 Also have a power horse of a machine, doesn't seem to make much of a difference...

It's amazing this is STILL not working in any of the programs. Some of the settings are migrated, but rarely all of them. Sure you can often find the old files and migrate them yourself, but the point of an automatic migration system is that we are NOT supposed to have to do that!
