    A workflow that may work for you is assigning a keyboard shortcut for "reveal sequence in project" and "duplicate" (i.e cmd/ctrl + 8 to reveal, cmd/ctrl + D to duplicate)

    To add to this, better still, if you need to do this very frequently, toggle all the layers you want to cut through and do as Stuart recommends, have a keyboard short cut (better still a mouse button mapped) as add edit (to cut).

  12. Please make Auto-Save function in the background without any dialog boxes, without any interruption to the workflow.

    Another option is to put your keyboard preferences file on a USB drive (Documents/Adobe/"profile"/Mac - to find on Mac) but being able to sync over the cloud automatically without having to do anything would definitely be a welcomed feature.
