I assume that you have attached the logs but the zip extensions are probably being blocked here, again.

Could you please upload the zip to a file transfer site (Dropbox or wetransfer etc.) and send us the link? Sorry for the hassle.

Thanks for confirming that the import works. To understand what went wrong temporarily could you please send us the zip of the log files? You can access them by launching Audition and going to Help >Reveal Log Files option. That should open up a few windows and show some files selected in them

Please copy all of them to a separate folder, zip that folder, and attach the zip here for us.

    Thanks again.

We tried selecting multiple files with File > Open and are able to open it in the Files panel on an M1. Drag/drop directly from Finder is also working. Per your screenshot, we specifically tried with MP3 files too, no issues. Could you let us know what specifically you are trying? And if it worked in the previous release on the same machine?

That's the pre-rendering progress update. From the Audition Help file:
In the Multitrack Editor, pre-render track effects to address heavy CPU usage, improving performance for complex mixes or low-latency recording. You can continue to edit track settings normally; pre-rendering processes audio when pauses occur in playback or editing.

Could you see what effects are added on that track? You can choose to remove and add that same effect again to see if pre-rendering succeeds the second time around.

If it is just the one clip on the track, you can also choose to add a clip effect (vs a track effect) and see if that works for you.

    Hi Egel-

Thanks for the report. This is working for me on macOS and WIn. Can you check your keyboard shortcut for “Switch to next File” and verify it’s only set to Ctrl+Tab? Thanks!

    Best,
    Michael

We have fixed this internally. Please try this out in our latest Audition Beta builds through the Creative Cloud Desktop application and let us know.

Thanks for reaching out to us. Could you let me know the following:
    1. The version of Adobe Audition that you are using
    2. Do you see this crash on Windows or on Mac?
    3. Did you submit the crash reports? If so, could you tell us the ID that you mentioned in the email field in the crash submit dialog?

Would it be possible for you to send us the session and the media so we can attempt to reproduce this in-house?

    Thanks,
    Satish

Thanks for sending the dmp files. Unfortunately the information in them is not sufficient enough for us to figure out the cause of the hangs. We now need your help in narrowing it down.

Could you let us know if there are any specific steps after which you see the hang on exit? Any particular files that causes this? Any effect, local or 3rd party ones used in the sessions, or routing settings that you may have modified?

    Regards,
    Satish

Thanks for reaching out to us. To understand the hang better, we will need the process dump from Audition when it hangs.

Could you please perform the following steps?
    1. Quit the app to reproduce the hang.
    2. In this state, launch the task manager (Ctrl+Shift+Esc)
    3. Look for Adobe Audition CC in there
    4. Right-click on Adobe Audition CC and choose to "Create dump file"
    5. This should create a file in %temp% folder. The path for which will be shown as soon as it is created.
    6. Upload this .dmp file in a file sharing website, like dropbox or wetransfer and send the link to us.

We will analyze this dmp file to understand where the hang happens and let you know the next steps.

    Thanks,
    Satish

Could you go to Preferences -> Multitrack Clips and see if the checkbox for "Use embedded timecode when inserting clips into multitrack" (the second entry here) is checked? If not, please enable this and then see if inserting the clips honors the embedded timecode.
