One more thing, I see that the transcription breaks up the interview into paragraphs, but I'm not seeing the rhyme or reason for paragraph breaks. In my sequence, I have long periods of monologue, then long periods of silence, then the speaker speaks again. If the transcription used those long periods of silence to put in paragraph breaks, that would definitely be more ideal. I'm not sure what it is as of now that puts in paragraph breaks, but based on where the big silences are, would be perfect.

I think it would be a big help if the default "last keyframe" of a clip would always be the BEGINNING of the last visible keyframe, and not the end of it, aka the start of the next clip. And turning off "pin to clip" makes the program glitch out and fast forwards me to the very end of the sequence, so I always have "pin to clip" on.

But scrolling thru the marker window, no matter it's size is very slow and choppy. Makes my job very difficult! Especially with this top of the line CPU I just bought.

I think I found the source of the problem. I found that when i closed the Marker window entirely, like, closed its tab so that I'd have to go to Window > Markers for it to show again, markers placed fine! But if the tab was in a panel, even if it wasn't open, marking would slow to a halt.

Then I discovered another thing. It's the length of the marker window that slows it down, whether the panel is open or not. I have a 27" monitor and want to see as many markers as possible at one time, so its fully open from the top to the bottom of my screen showing 21 markers. When I drag the panel down to show only 3 or 0, the markers go back to normal behavior.

That marker window is ****! Could it be a GPU thing? I have a GTX 1070 Founders.

I recorded making markers and used the recording for timings, so I'm speaking in 60fps language.

In my test project with a 1080p sequence h.264 640x360 clip out and the first marker I place takes 44 frames to go from pressing M to text box popping on screen so I can start typing.

By marker 19, it takes a full second, marker 20 jumps to 1s 32f, then marker 21 jumps again to 2s45f!

By marker 21 we're looking at 4 seconds. That's where I stopped. It's definitely happening across video projects. Any thoughts?
