Nothing's up with it Rajiv, support for the Legacy Titler hasn't been ported to the M1 beta version yet, as noted (under the 'Not currently functioning' heading) in the M1 beta release post:

In the Clip Speed / Duration dialog you have to 'unlink' the Speed and Duration values (click on the little chain link icon) ... otherwise those values are inter-linked and changing one will change the other.
    Give it a try.

A known bug since forever... they've tried to fix it (release notes for 14.0.2 states: 'Fixed an issue with disappearing cursor when closing panel or switching workspaces.') but they just can't figure it out.

    Hi Brendan,

The clue is in the name... basically, "Legacy" Titler remains available so older projects won't break if opened in newer versions of PPro ... I wouldn't hold out too much hope of any further development of this tool.

That said, I've often used it for basic subtitling and had zero issues, so it may be something in your workflow that is causing the problem. If you've not already done so, the best place to pursue this would probably be a post in the Adobe Support Community for Premiere Pro
    https://community.adobe.com/t5/premiere-pro/bd-p/premiere-pro

If you're convinced it's a bug tho, then to have any hope of seeing it addressed, I think you're going to need to provide much more specific info, including exact steps to replicate the problem.

    Cheers
    Andy

We understand that retiring a part of the software can create issues for some users. We are doing our best to make this a slow and steady process and are adding needed features along the way. Most importantly, we have added the ability to convert Legacy Titles into Source Graphics. While not all characteristics will translate perfectly, this should give you really good results in most cases. We’re not just taking something away, we’re adding functionality to Essential Graphics constantly. Our team is working hard to make sure it meets your workflow needs. And if it doesn’t - we want to know about it. If you feel that there is a specific feature missing in Essential Graphics please create a single UserVoice post for it, e.g. for Inner and Outer Strokes. This way it is much easier for others to vote on something actionable. Please take a look at our…

A different point of view might see Kyle's 'fix' as a long-winded manual workaround to a glaring workflow design issue.

I'd argue that the fix is for Adobe to add reliable 'Match Source' options for audio in the encoding presets (just like it already has for video) and allow their use for ingest presets.
