Hi John, you can also skip it by going directly to the "Edit" Tab - that allows you to import using the media browser as it used to be.

You might need to re-bind the keyboard shortcut in order for it to work again as it is not bound by default. You can find it via Keyboardshortcuts -> Edit selection caption text

Danke für diesen Bug-Report. Dieser Fehler betrifft aktuell nur die Beta-Version von Premiere Pro - die Release-Version ist nicht davon betroffen.

Thank you for reporting this issue - did you click the transcription tab in the text panel to navigate to your existing transcription? re-transcribing will always overwrite all corrections unless you use the in-to-out option with the "merge with existing" option

Thank you for your feedback. Find and replace already exists in the text panel - click on the search bar on the top left - and press the circle-arrow button to open the replace option bar

the transcription process is running in the cloud - in theory you could even close premiere while it is still running and resume at the completed state a day later.
There is currently no way to cancel the transcription in the cloud - we are working on ways to make this possible in the future. -

Could you also give some details if you are on Win or Mac ?

Thank you for your feedback! There have been significant fixes to the text panel in Premiere Pro 15.4 and the Premiere Pro beta - have you tried with a more recent version?
You can now also disable the auto scrolling feature via the "..." overflow menu on the top. -

Thank you for reporting this issue! Premiere Pro 15.4 includes an improvement where this state should no longer happen (unable to click parts of the panel)
Hi !
As a workaround you can also skip the import screen and go directly into the editing tab. This would then allow you to e.g. drag the files into your project from the os folder view or using the media browser.
Best regards,
Alexander
