You can add multiple puppets (from the Project panel) into a scene (Scene or Timeline panel) to animate separately.

im trying to get basically a parrot on a pirates shoulder to work. ie when the pirate moves, he takes the parrot with him, and while they are moving together they can have a conversation with each other. while both characters would still have the ability to control their own specific movements.
