Brand new Vega 64rx in a Sonnet box. Not using any of the HDMI ports. Forced the app to prefer eGPU.... eGPU doesn't register a single tick when I render or when I use render-heavy effects. This is a deeply frustrating issue that Adobe is not addressing seriously enough. The eGPU set-up is now becoming an essential tool in the modern post pro workflow and Adobe is lagging FAR behind on providing seamless integration for PP users. FCPX Works flawlessly, Davinici Resolve works flawlessly.
If you want to keep your market share Adobe you need to address issues like this or at least provide troubleshooting tips for working with third-party hardware.
