It’s great to see people using other Creative Cloud apps :)
Please continue to add to this thread if you have additional thoughts on how you would like your Lightroom content (assets, albums) to show up in Rush.Simon Pedersen supported this idea ·Simon Pedersen commented
As another user said, it is insane that I cannot access photos and videos that was uploaded to Creative Cloud from Lightroom Mobile inside Rush. I thought "Creative Cloud Storage" meant the same accross all apps that use Creative Cloud as a storage - but obviously not.
The logic here seems to be:
1. Creative Cloud is just "one thing" - however:
2. Lightroom stores content to a separate area of Creative Cloud - possibly as simple as a folder that is hidden from the desktop CC sync tool
3. The file system folder called "Creative Cloud Files" in your Explorer (if you're on Windows) does indeed point to the same Creative Cloud storage area as the one used by Lightroom Mobile - but you will never see photos from Lightroom Mobile here - they're hidden and only available in the cloud.
4. The files seen by Rush is only those uploaded by rush or by your file system. Not the files from Lightroom.
Side note: You can also view the content of your Creative Cloud storage here: https://assets.adobe.com/ - but it again doesn't show any of the files from Adobe Lightroom. It does however show something called Cloud documents, which for me contains my Adobe XD documents.
So ... this means that if I want to access my Lightroom content from Rush, I have to put them into the part of CC that is visible on my file system - but to be honest, I don't really understand how to get them there - other than to export them from Lightroom - and besides, it doesn't make sense to do this, as it would in effect duplicate the content and use twice as much storage.
So Ben, you asked for thoughts on how we wanted our lightroom assets to appear in Rush. This is how: just make the folder "Lightroom" appear inside Rush.
The issue is discussed and elaborated a bit here: https://forums.adobe.com/thread/2547579
