We understand that retiring a part of the software can create issues for some users. We are doing our best to make this a slow and steady process and are adding needed features along the way. Most importantly, we have added the ability to convert Legacy Titles into Source Graphics. While not all characteristics will translate perfectly, this should give you really good results in most cases.
We’re not just taking something away, we’re adding functionality to Essential Graphics constantly. Our team is working hard to make sure it meets your workflow needs. And if it doesn’t – we want to know about it.
If you feel that there is a specific feature missing in Essential Graphics please create a single UserVoice post for it, e.g. for Inner and Outer Strokes. This way it is much easier for others to vote on something actionable.

I agree, it would be ideal if there was a mouse driven "Make Subsequence" command. (There already is one for "Make SubClip", by holding command and dragging material into the project window.)
A common editing task is breaking a sequence up into smaller sequences to make selects or organize. Also, frequently we want to remove portions of a cut but KEEP them around as LIFTS to put back or move to a different place.
Right now the only way to do that is to copy and paste them into a new sequence, or to use the "Make subsequence" menu/keyboard command, which works but is not efficient (and resets the timecode).
The easiest option would be to drag and drop subsequence portions into the project window with the mouse, the way you can in the Avid. That would ideally generate a sequence with only the pieces that had been lassoed. (The same way "Make Sub-clip" currently works.)
**PS DRAGGING them to the "New Item" Icon in the Project window partially works. However, it only works if I lasso certain types of media. For instance, if I include any titles it won't perform the operation.

Most professional cameras create files with up to 8 channels of audio.
However, the H264 proxies only support 2 channels.
We need help Adobe! Please fix this.

This has happened to me on several different projects that use this camera and LUT.
Masterclips effect will stop or start working. This happened to me once in the middle of an edit session with a client and caused a ton of confusion (what's wrong with the color?).

The Legacy Title is so much more useful for all of my needs.
It also resembles the Avid Tool, which is easier for Avid people to transition to Adobe.
By treating each as a title as a "clip", you can build, design and manipulate it independently of the edit, which allows for FAR greater flexibility.
I understand the desire for pre-built title effects with Essential Graphics, but us working editors need a versatile tool for more thank "cool graphics".
I'm usually all for progress and change, but PLEASE KEEP THIS THING!
