This feature is now available in public beta for Windows. Please give us a try and let us know how it is working for you. (Mac support was added a couple releases ago.)

I LOVE this. Even though I have already set a keyboard shortcut for reversing keyframes, I think having that functionality that Sander is describing here built into AE would be a huge improvement.

I'm very excited to announce that keyframe color labels, along with a new design for keyframe selection, are now available in public beta!
You'll need to update to version 22.5.0 Build 18 or later to get access. Learn more here: https://community.adobe.com/t5/after-effects-beta-discussions/welcome-to-keyframe-color-labels-in-ae/td-p/12927209
Thank you for all your input. Please give the beta a try and let us know how it's working for you.

I 100% agree with this. It's 2019 and there's better hardware out there that AE can take advantage of. And I would say there's technology in Premiere that After Effects should reference, premiere doesn't have to do any caching for previewing, just hit the space bar and everything plays.
I get that with AE there's effects and compositing involved, but still, waiting so long for a Ram preview to cache and still get dropped frames and playback issues is just not acceptable.

I really wished they paid attention to things like this. I use Bluetooth headphones and I can't tell you how many times a day i have to go to preferences and find this annoying setting to make it use headphones audio out, when I can just click on my audio icon for Windows and quickly switch the Audio out setting.
And I mean on both AE and Premiere. This is very annoying, please make it work with default Audio Hardware
