Hi folks! A quick update to let you know that three new Multi-Frame Rendering features went live in the After Effects public beta (18.4×37 and later) earlier this week:
- Speculative Preview: When AE is idle (you’re checking your email, grabbing a coffee or even just browsing effects), it will render your timeline in the background so you’re ready to preview when you get back.
- Multi-Frame Rendering in Adobe Media Encoder Beta: Enable MFR in the AE Beta and export in the background up to 3x faster.
- Render notifications on desktop, iOS and Android: AE can let you know when it’s done no matter where you are via the Creative Cloud app. (Fun bonus: notifications will even work on your smartwatch!)

Looks like Adobe needs some advanced AI algorithms to bring it back.... or maybe they spent all their money on Tiffany Haddish wage and have no more budget for this. :P

Give Adobe a brake. They are working ******* restoring proportional scaling in Photoshop.

Dear developers from Adobe. We are all tired of waiting. There is no real alternative for AE, you know that and you take advantage from it. AE exists because it has no real competition not because it is great tool. If you listened to the people you could make it great. Years are passing and AE feels the same like 10 years ago. Without plugins it would be dead. 3d tools are joke. Have a look at Blender development where its developers listen to the people, talk to them, make promises, publish roadmaps and improve the app. They are doing this with much less budget, super stars and useless shows. People who pay you want a whole new "SUPER CAR" not just a one single shiny piece of it every half a year.
