  2. Every so often, when deleting then re-recording, the waveform and spectral display will zoom to the per sample level.

    This happens fairly frequently. Occasionally, if I hit the "zoom out full" button (the magnifying glass with the four arrows around it), that will work. However, Audition's latest trick is to stop responding to commands and just recording for minutes on end until you force quit.

    Thanks Matt -- What would be "as expected"? It's set at 10% and I've never, to my knowledge, adjusted it.

    Honestly, I can't pinpoint it -- Possibly early 13, maybe 12? I'd say in the last 6 months?

    Agreed -- I had to roll back to 2019 a month or so ago because AE and PP both would not launch. Just tried to load and see if Adobe had fixed the issues... NOPE! Still useless. Why am I paying full price when your software doesn't work and I have to use old versions?

    Hey John -- thanks for getting back to me. Sorry for the delay on my end. The file is 138 KB.
    The creation of a new prefs file definitely helped -- and when I deleted and re-re-named my old one back to its proper name, it opened quickly again.

    Ghosts in the machine. :)

    The modal showing the available comps is also becoming incredibly slow to populate. Multiply that by two and it's becoming a huge time sink!

    Sorry -- Media Encoder did not show up as an option in the dropdown when I posted this. I'll repost there.

    Media Encoder slows to a crawl during renders. No idea what causes it -- it could render one AE Or PP project fine, then the next time it runs the same project it is so slow that it needs to be stopped. Restarting seems to fix it for a while.
