This would be great! I'm creating a video in Rush that originally comes from Keynote. So I create a sequence in Keynote, export it as a video, I import it in Rush to add music and effects and then export it finished afterwards. But if I want to make changes in the video, like changing a text for example, I have to import again it besides the video. Then I manually move all the audio and other effects to the changed video sequence. If I could just replace the video for a new one, retaining all of the other effects, it would be a time-saver.

Dear Caroline Sears, whenever I need to issue a video in many languages, I will have to create a new video and then replicate again everything I did in the first video manually. So, I really will do the duplicate myself if I need it. We just want to duplicate it and localize it since also the amount of layers is very limited.
Let us save the files locally, then, but please make our life easier. Hindering our work when we need duplicates and make us copy the projects we NEED to do -manually- is EVIL. We do not create duplicates for the sake of it?
We'll use an alternative and stop using Rush because it takes to long -Ah, the irony.
I need this to make identical videos but localized in different languages. Now I have to write down all transitions and edits in a paper and then recreate the video from scratch as many times as languages required (there can be seven languages needed!), and it is a pain.
