Though there is no feature using this name or similar, the ability to do this with the existing tools exists in Premiere and it's almost as easy as Avid's right-click > autosequence.

Take a batch of clips from one camera and select them all. Now right click and select 'create multicamera source sequence'. In the multicamera source sequence creation dialogue box, set the 'synchronisation point' option to 'timecode' and then under timecode check the checkbox that says 'create single multicam source sequence'. Set 'track assignments' to 'camera' all the other settings should be fine on their defaults.

Right click on the newly created multicamera source sequence and select 'open in timeline' to view its conents. Though it is technically a multicamera source sequence, it is made up entirely of clips from a single angle, and will therefore have only one video track with the spacing between each clip equal to the time that elapsed between recordings, exactly the same as Avid's auto-sequence. You can put several of these together in to one master sync map of multiple angles just like you would with Avid as well. Load the multicamera source sequence of a given camera's clips in to the source monitor, and then set the 'insert/overwrite sequences as nests or individual clips' toggle to clips. You can then splice the contents of that auto sequence in to another sequence, or even another multicamera source sequence.

It's not as elegant as a button called 'autosequence' but there's only a few more steps and those are really just checking boxes.

I do my best with toggle all video and toggle all audio but I so frequently find myself switching them to the wrong state or getting confused between the 2 and having to do it a couple of times over that I suspect I'm probably more often better off using the mouse plus shift key on track controls on the timeline. I would really love a deselect all tracks button.

I see the logic in having toggles for each, I can actually think of very few situations where that's ever what I've actually intended to do and thousands of situations every day where selecting/deselecting ALL tracks is what I wanted.

This plus the command being localised to either source/record side depending on which is active, in combination with auto-patching would be great. It's nice to cut bits of one complex sequence in to another by placing one in to the source monitor and while source is active, deselecting all source tracks and then with the number keys choosing the specific tracks you want to insert and then switching to program side and doing the same again but now pressing the numbers for the tracks you want to target and the auto patching automatically matches them together.

Antoine Autokroma: Indeed you can, it's what I currently do. The point is it's something that could be automated to a single click and without too many considerations or complexities that I can think of. I suggest it as a feature for the same reason that 'delete empty tracks' is already a feature. You could raise the height of each and every empty track on a timeline and right-click and press delete until there are no empty tracks, but Adobe saw the usefulness of a one-click approach to this.

This feature, if implemented would essentially be a variation of the 'delete empty tracks function' in as much as it would be automatically eliminating unused spaces on tracks, without destructively affecting the arrangement of the timeline (no clips deleted).

Now that you mention it though, it would also be good if the feature could optionally 'squash' and then also if desired, delete the empty tracks as well. I don't know if it was clear in my original post, but in my example of a clip on track 7 and another on track 1, simply deleting empty tracks would already work as there'd be only 2 clips, but the difficulty that this feature would hopefully solve would be if there were more clips on any of the tracks 6,5,3,2 or 2, later on down the timeline, this would make sense for a form of 'checkerboarding' to organise footage, but sometimes you want to clear that up later. It may be that once cleaned up, it was only necessary to have 3 or maybe 4 tracks if all clips were vertically flush, hence 'squashed', with all empty vertical space between them removed.
