Still the same issue with the newest version of 2020. I just want to render a small snippet out of a feature lengh film and it renders every audio clip in the timeline before exporting just this one minute. Why?

Editing and preview is not an issue. It just takes forever when exporting. After rendering audio for hours I can now export the clips without rendering audio again and again. But I am still a little afraid that the next time I am in this project this will happen again even if I didn't touch anything in the audio parameters.

I should add that some effects are on the tracks. In my case there are four tracks, two of them have a Multiband Compressor on them, two have a simple EQ, there is also a Limiter on the Master track. Nothing that Audition would handle way faster. But anyway it take hours to render all audio of this 2 1/2 hour timeline for whatever piece you want to export. I should mention that after reading about the known problems in Premiere 2019 I installed 2020 and it got way faster (2 or 3 hours instead of 5) but anyway I just want to export small chunks and it should take minutes and not hours. Without audio the clips would render in 3 minutes.

One more vote! This is why I am using Resolve more often and I don't even like it for editing.

I would love that feature! I could use something like this quite often. I would see it as a search for audio in an already edited sequence or finished edited video which will find pieces from that in an audio bin and synchronize automatically what it finds it in a new sequence. Can't be so hard to realize. I mean the synchronize feature is already implemented but sadly on a very poor level.

I really want to vote for an unnest option. I have the case that I shot and edited a concert and to save some time I was puting this sequence in a new one to just seperate some songs and put some credits into it. Easy job so far, then the band wanted to have a sound engineer to optimize the sound for just this songs and now I have to build all the small clips again because there where a few tracks used. An unnest function would have been so helpful to just drop the material in the new sequences. Also I didn't get why all 2 hours of audio had to be rendered just to export the few minutes in the small sequences which used the bigger sequence but that has nothing to do with the unnest feature.

Thanks for all the feedback. It’s pretty clear that we’ve got to look into the workflow using this format more closely, there are enough reports about gaps at this point to reopen this item. I’ll post more info about next steps shortly. In the meantime, a couple of questions are easy to answer:

    - The plugin is designed for Premiere Pro. It currently doesn’t provide support for After Effects.
    - It does work with AME, so if you want to use it for batch processing, that’s very doable
    - If you’ve started a project with Autokroma, there’s no easy way to transfer it to be running with the new plugin.

I am having huge exporting and render issues. Never experienced something like this with other material. Blackmagic Codec Version 1.6 running, no Autokroma installed.
