Thank you for filing this request.
We have logged an internal feature request for adding support to the Animation codec for both encoding and decoding delta frames (a.k.a, the “Key frame every X frames” option). It is currently under review for future updates to the Adobe DVA products. At this time I can not share a timeline for when this might happen.

Just discovered this myself. Big problem. Like many of us, I used this in hundreds of projects for years. Now all that work is gone. I've got clients asking for revisions. How really hard is it to support this? Because I can see certain exports do still work. Man, I'm telling you, if someone had an alternative to Adobe . . .

Just adding my agreement, and wondering if this behavior is a bug, or if they thought this was something someone wanted? I don't understand in what way this would be useful.

This is incredibly annoying and unclear why this would be a behavior, unless it is a bug.

Second that, absolutely needed. In FCP I had a folder of several dissolve durations that were drag and drop. Now, I have to do several clicks and typing just to change dissolves, and I'm constantly zooming in, zooming out because the dissolve is too small to right-click, dragging is inaccurate . . . tedious, unproductive, exhausting for one of the most common operations.

Asking to restore Animation codec support also. Was taught by industry professionals this was the only safe output alpha movie format for not kidding over 20 years.
