I'm surprised with the new(ish) speech-to-text feature introduced to Premiere Pro since this post two years ago, that this feature request isn't a higher priority and taken more seriously by the product team. The speech-to-text feature, which is an AWESOME addition, is essentially still UNUSABLE in the broadcasting world, because we don't have a way to deliver captions embedded in mpeg-2 files. Our TV station, as well as many stations, doesn't accept sidecar files.

Thank you, Nate! This will make many broadcasters very happy. We appreciate you noticing this and working to make this request possible. Looking forward to future releases.

    Thanks!

I agree that it is a pain to get the captions encoded into MPEG2. We've been taking the exported video from Premiere and importing into MacCaption (Telestream). The bad thing about that is we have to export the video again out of MacCaption as an MPEG2. The "Embed into Output File" is already available for QuickTime. So it would save people so much time if Premiere Pro had this same feature for embedding captions into MPEG2 files.

Thanks for all the feedback. It’s pretty clear that we’ve got to look into the workflow using this format more closely, there are enough reports about gaps at this point to reopen this item. I’ll post more info about next steps shortly. In the meantime, a couple of questions are easy to answer:

    - The plugin is designed for Premiere Pro. It currently doesn’t provide support for After Effects.
    - It does work with AME, so if you want to use it for batch processing, that’s very doable
    - If you’ve started a project with Autokroma, there’s no easy way to transfer it to be running with the new plugin.

    Hi Jonathan,

I ran into this searching to see if this is possible. Is this your post on the Community Forums?

    https://community.adobe.com/t5/after-effects/tangent-wave-ripple-color-grading-in-ae-cc-2020/m-p/11090771?page=1#M110564

Just figured I'd link the two posts. You have my vote!

Hey Philip, if there are other similar feature requests, could you share the links for those on this uservoice page, as well? I'd be happy to vote for those.

Agreed! I just confirmed with GoPro that there are several different variables between the lenses on Hero7 and those older models. GoPro did not recommend using any of the older presets for the old models on the newer ones, unfortunately.

Photoshop, for example, already has has presets for all of the recent GoPro lenses. So I feel like asking this to be updated in Premiere is very doable.

Couple question on that Youtube link:

    1. Any word on if it work for 2019 Premiere Pro, also?

    2. Does it enable Dolby Digital for DVD/Blu-ray export?

    3. I believe that only is for Windows. Is there a solution for Mac?

I'll share a similar uservoice link, too, where you can also place a vote

I'm glad you posted this, because I have been also wanting this for a long time. Premiere Pro sequence markers carry over to After Effects compositions, so it would be nice if After Effects markers could carry over to Premiere in a similar way. Thanks for requesting.
