As Matt mentioned, this has been updated in the Audition Beta, available in the Creative Cloud Desktop app, and will be in the next main release update of Audition.

I'm having the same issue. Since this change, editing voice has become sooooo much more labor intensive! I'll try out the keyboard shortcut to help speed things along, but it sure would be nice to be able to set this default somewhere.

Thanks for the report/request (Please make Ripple Delete affect Bus automation), we have been tracking this as DVAAU-4202542. I’ll update once we have this fixed.

Just thought I'd check in on this. This issue is by far my most wanted fix. It all but eliminates the usefulness of bus automation for me. (And if it's only me, that's mind blowing!)

This is my #1 biggest complaint using Adobe Audition. I would loooooove to get an update!

Seconded! This is such a useful (and very simple!) thing that most other DAWs have these days. AA could make it really special and allow you to dial in the level of transparency, too. (On other DAWs, at 50% transparency,it can sometimes get confusing which waveform is which when overlapping. Allowing us to control that number would be fantastic!)

Seconded! The sad thing is, the program used to have exactly this back when it was Cool Edit Pro. They got rid of it for some reason. And boy do i wish they hadn't.

My hacky workaround for this is to save an effect (or a whole rack of effects) as "temp" and then load that effect (or whole rack of effects) into wherever I need it. This can be done within a session or even in a separate session all together! But yeah, it'd be way more awesome if we could copy/paste effects (or a whole rack of effects!!) wherever needed...even into other sessions!
And speaking of copy/paste...(and I'm sure this has been brought up elsewhere)...it'd be great if we could do that with automation points, too!
