As a subscriber I still expect Adobe developers to provide BRAW native support that is GPU accelerated - at some point! This is not a resolved issue, it is another plug in along the lines of Autokrama that Adobe are thankful for and leaping on to claim 'progress'.

Thanks for all the feedback. It’s pretty clear that we’ve got to look into the workflow using this format more closely, there are enough reports about gaps at this point to reopen this item. I’ll post more info about next steps shortly. In the meantime, a couple of questions are easy to answer:

    - The plugin is designed for Premiere Pro. It currently doesn’t provide support for After Effects.
    - It does work with AME, so if you want to use it for batch processing, that’s very doable
    - If you’ve started a project with Autokroma, there’s no easy way to transfer it to be running with the new plugin.

    Patrick

This is a no brainer Adobe. SDK for Braw is freely available and Black Magic are completely open to collaboration on NLE implementation. If you don't implement you'll just drive more BM camera owners that are comfortable with Premiere into the hands of Davinci.

Nope - I have all of these issues on PC (XPS 9570) including a missive media browser slowdown.

Agreed. A lot of XPS 9570 users (among others) out there, myself included!

Agree with whole GTX10XX range. 2+ years in for the pascal cards and Nvidia dragging their heels on next release means we could be on these a while longer and it would be nice to have them supported while still relevant.

I would love to see configuration options to select GPU to use for different tasks AND ideally spread them out so UI is handled by intel integrated, FX & Render by discrete GTX 10XX. I for one have a Dell XPS 9570 with 3 GPUs integrated, 1050ti & eGPU 1070ti...why can't all three be configured to run different aspects and maximise the horsepower?

I'm having similar issues of slow media browser thumbnail builds and it seems that even after I've waited for the thumbnails in a folder to build, if I click to another folder (and wait again for thumbnails) then click back...they have to build all over again? It doesn't seem to retain the lower quality thumbnails for a project. I also get occasional JPEG thumbnail issues so I suspect there has been some work done on the media browser and it has made the underlying process less streamlined/speedy. I've only noticed this since June/July. I'm using my dell XPS 9570 internal 1tb SSD (smasung evo 970).
