    Hi Ozcan,

Copy/Paste from Word to Rush is supported for titles. I'm doing it successfully right now. Can you confirm that Copy and Paste works from Word to other applications?

If Copy/Paste works from Word to other applications, can you please reach out to our support team at one of the options below?

    Hi Cesar,

Transparent png files are supported on all platforms of Rush. If it's not working for you, can you please upload a file that I can download to see why it does not appear transparent in Rush?

    Thanks,

    Peter

    Hi Dan,

Sorry Rush is not working properly for you. Would you mind giving us a bit more information so we can understand why you are seeing this issue?

It should only take you a couple of minutes.

    Thank you,

    Hi Lauri,

In the Titles Inspector, you can add a Solid Background. You can set the color to whatever you want.

Does this solution work for you?

    Thanks,

    Peter

Thanks Jared, this is a great suggestion! We will see how we can work a solution into Rush. Out of curiosity, are you using an external mic that only records to one channel? If not, what camera are you using?

    Hi all,

Thanks for your feedback on this behavior. The clips in V2-V4 or A1-A3 are called associated clips. The idea behind associated clips is that it allows you to edit more efficiently. Associated clips are often b-roll, titles, music, sound effects, and are placed over a specific frame of the clip in V1 (main storyline) to help tell the story. If you move the clip in V1 to a different time in the sequence, you'll often want the title, sound effect, etc. to come with it, or if you delete the primary clip, that could mean you no longer need the title or sound effect anymore. We know this isn't always true. We are thinking of ways to improve the behavior and make the timeline more flexible.

We would love to hear additional feedback on ways you feel we can improve the experience.

For now, the best way to keep clips in the same place is to lock your tracks. See attached image.

    Thanks again!

To change the transparency of a title
    1. Add a title to your project
    2. Open the Transform Inspector
    3. Under Basic, slide the Opacity slider to the left

Let us know if you're looking for additional controls.

    Best,

    Peter

    Hi Carl,

Thanks for the feedback. Keep on the lookout for a new release as we will be adding right-click support to desktop. Note, that fade In and Out is not going to be in this upcoming release however you can use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl+D to add a cross dissolve.

    Cheers!

Yes! We are listening, David :) We understand the desire to be able to duplicate entire projects from the Project Browser. We have this high on our to-do list.

Until we're able to provide you with the duplicate project feature, we encourage you to use the duplicate sequence method for now. See the link below for this workflow

    https://helpx.adobe.com/premiere-rush/help/duplicating_sequences.html

Keep following this thread for updates on progress.

    Happy editing!

    Hi Jane,

Thanks for sharing your workflow and what you're trying to achieve.

I totally see the value in that. We're working on the best way to bring this feature forward. Stay tuned!

    Cheers!

    Peter

All - In case you missed the post from Ben Smith I'll copy it below. You should not need to redo any work when changing formats. Please refer to the steps below to duplicate sequences. Hope this helps!

Thanks everyone for feeding back on this point. We are considering the best way to address your needs below, but in the meantime, let me share a workflow that may help with versioning, creating multiple renditions, or even making a backup of your edits:
    - Open the Project Panel while working in an existing Project
    - Find your sequence (it will likely be called “Sequence 01″ and can be located by finding a small icon in the bottom right corner of the thumbnail)
    - Click or tap the … menu and select “Duplicate” — this creates a copy that can have independent edits: rename the sequence, trim, add/remove media, color, etc. and it will not affect your first sequence
    - Double click or tap a sequence from the project panel to place it in the editor and work on it
    - When sharing from the app, only the active sequence will be shared.
    - You can see which sequence is active by viewing the top bar (name your sequences with more memorable names by using the … menu)
While we are aware that this experience can be improved, please consider this workflow and continue to provide feedback on how you think duplicating projects may benefit your experience with Rush.
