Thanks for the feedback, David. I understand you would like the ability to set the duration on import but wanted to point out in case you or others are not aware, you can set a specific duration for a still or video by

    1. Selecting the clip
    2. Open the Speed Inspector
    3. Enter a value in Clip Duration

    Cheers!

    Hi Christina,

There has not been any updates to Rush recently. It's possible your computer updated to a newer graphics card driver. I would try the following:

    1. Launch Rush while holding down the Alt key - Select reset Preferences
    2. Confirm you're on the latest version of Rush
    3. Run a system update on your PC
    4. Update to the latest graphics driver on your PC, if that doesn't help I would try rolling back a few version or two

Help one of these helps! Let us know either way.

    Best,

    Peter

    Hi Louis,

During the tour, there should be a button at the top right of the blue coach mark that says "Skip Tour".

Let us know if that's not working for you.

    Cheers!

    Hi,

Rush should never delete/overwrite other media on import. Can you please provide a recording of this so we can investate the issue?

Media can be overwritten when manually dragging and dropping a clip on top of another.

    Look forward to hearing back!

    Hi All,

Thank you for the continued feedback. We’re currently exploring additional transitions we can include within Rush. Stay tuned

Adminpetergaraway (Software Engineer, Adobe DVA) commented  ·

    Hi all,

As must of you are probably aware, Rush comes with Cross Dissolve, Dip to Black, and Dip to White in the Transitions Inspector.

If you're not aware, you can also find really great transitions in the Adobe Stock panel in the Title Inspector.

    1. Open the Title Inspector
    2. Select More Titles
    3. Search for "Transitions"
    4. Add them to your project and customize them by going to the Edit panel

Nous prévoyons dessus! Malheureusement, pas de temps estimé pour le moment. Y a-t-il des transitions spécifiques que vous voudriez voir?

    Hello all,

Sorry for anyone affected by this issue. We’re working hard to understanding the cause. At this point, we believe it may be caused by HEVC or what Apple calls “High efficiency” format.

For the time being, we recommend setting your iOS device format to “Most Compatible”. You make this change in Settings > Camera > Formats “Most Compatible.”

If you continue to see this issue using this format, please let us know. Again for the inconvenience. We will update this post once we know more.

    Appreciate your patience.

    Peter

    Hi all,

We're still actively working on this problem. It would be helpful to know a few things are your device and media

    1. What device and iOS version do you have?
    2. What type of media is in your project? You can find this under OS Settings > Camera - Please share the following info
    * Resolution and frame rate of your media
    * Under Formats - Is High Efficiency or Most Compatible selected?
    3. Are there any steps or anything done in the project to make the glitches consistently occur?

Thank you very much for the information and your patience as we work hard to resolve this.

    Hi Ding,

Sorry, you're hitting these issues on export. I haven't seen this myself. Can answer the following

    1. Did you add any color filters or manually change color settings to your clips?
    2. Are you using the default export setting?
    3. Can you send a screen grab or recording of the issue?

    Thanks,

    PG

Adminpetergaraway (Software Engineer, Adobe DVA) commented  ·

    Hi Eric,

Thanks for the report. This glitch on export should definitely not be happening. Can you please give some additional details so we can investigate this issue? This info would be really helpful

    1. What version of Rush 1.0 or 1.0.1?
    2. What device and iOS version
    3. Does the glitch appear in the timeline before export?
    4. Does the glitch appear in the file saved to the camera roll or only to the YouTube video
    5. What export preset was used?

Also, if you can include a screen recording or screen grab of the issue I'd love to see it.

    Thanks,

    PG

    Hi Shane,

That's odd! Can you please try launching Rush while holding down the Alt key on your keyboard. Hold it down until you get a message asking you to reset your preferences > Click OK

Let us know if that helps or not.

    Hi Steven,

Thanks for writing in and for your feedback. Can you explain what you mean by "I want to choose where my video crops"? Rush allows you to easily crop by going to Transform Inspector > Crop or you can tap on the image in the monitor to pinch and zoom to crop.

Rush also offers a set of color filters that you can apply with a single tap and if you want to take it further you can go to the Edit section where you have all of the essential color controls.

    Happy New Year!

Thanks for the feedback Prizm! We're looking into ways to provide the best experience when working with linked clips.

For your specific case, my workaround is adding a 1 frame black clip (graphic/title) to the beginning of the sequence.

I hope this helps for now. Happy New Year!
