    Hi there!

Yes, adding a screen capture feature is something we're looking into. Thanks for the request. I wanted to call in case you didn't notice that you can choose a frame from anywhere in your project to use as your YouTube thumbnail.

    Here's how:
    1. Once you edit is complete, go to Share screen
    2. Click on YouTube > Under Thumbnail section you can select either
"Set Current Frame" use the monitor to select a frame or "Upload" to select an image you already prepared.

    Hope this helps!

    Hi Abel

Rush supports alpha channel formats on Mac and Windows. Unfortunately, alpha is not supported on iOS other than png files. This is not just Rush; it's an Apple OS thing. Hopefully, we can find ways around this in the future.

If you have access to Premiere Pro, you can create titles (motion graphic templates) that contain alpha information and use those in Rush. Here's how https://helpx.adobe.com/premiere-pro/using/essential-graphics-panel.html#Creategraphicsinpremierepro

There are other great tutorials online as well.

Let us know if you have any other questions.

    Best,

    PG

Sorry for the trouble Francesco. Can you please answer a few questions? Would love to figure out what's going on here.

    1. What MacBook Pro you have and what OS version you have installed?
    2. What type of video is on your project? What camera shot it? 4k? 1080?
    3. Did you apply any color effects or titles?
    4. Did you use the automatic export setting or did you change the settings?

    Thanks in advance,

    PG

    Hi there,

Did you want to set the language of app independent of OS/iOS language? If so (as you probably are aware) that is not possible within Rush. I'm curious if you have other apps that allow for this?

If you're ok switching your OS language you can do so following the link below on iOS - After changing your language, Rush will update accordingly.

    https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204031

Let me know if you have any additional questions.

    Thanks,

    PG

    Hi Lauren,

Sorry for the trouble. Can you tell me what device/computer you have (iOS, Win, Mac)? Can you also tell when what type of video you're trying to add? Is it HD, 4k, slowmo? What camera created it?

Thanks in advanced. Would love to get you using Rush successfully.

Sorry for the delayed response (I did not have notifications set up properly. I do now).

A few things to and consider. Since you’re on an Enterprise account, you need to sign in not only with the same email but also the same account type. Once that is confirmed, please try the following:

    1. Launch Rush, from the Project Browser, locate the project that is not syncing. Click on the ellipse menu (...), select "Turn Sync Off" from the list. Once sync is turned off, turn it back on.

    2. Wait until the sync upload progress is complete (blue progress ring closes) before closing/backgrounding Rush. You can confirm you files have uploaded to the Cloud by going to the Creative Cloud App on your Desktop, select Assets > Files > View on Web. From the Web browser, go to Files > Adobe > Assets. Your project files can be found there.

    3. Once the files sync to Creative Cloud, open Rush on your iOS device. Make sure you're connected to WiFi or a Cellular network

    4. Open your project. Do not close/background Rush until the sync download progress is complete (blue progress ring closes).

Please let us know if you’re still not syncing after following these steps. I’ll make sure to get back to you right away.

    Thanks for your patience.

Sorry for the trouble. Can you please confirm you that you’re signed in using the same enterprise Adobe ID on both iOS and desktop? Also, confirm you have sync enabled on the iOS device and the Adobe desktop app?

Does sync fail to go both ways, i.e. from Mac to iOS and from iOS to Mac?

    Thanks,

    Hi Johnny,

Sorry for the hassle. Can you try a few things?

    1. Open Rush > Open the Premiere Rush CC menu > Select the Audio Output you're attempting to play to
    2. Go to the Apple System Preferences. Apple menu > System Preferences > Sound > Under Output, select the same output that was chosen in Rush.

You may need to restart Rush. Please let us know if this does not work.

    Thanks,

    Hi Cooper,

Rush does allow for you to view your video after exporting.

Once your export is complete, there's a play button in the middle of the thumbnail image. Tap/click to play.

Let us know if you were thinking of something else. Thanks!

    Hello,

Sorry, this is happening. Can you please tell us some more info about your setup so we can try to help resolve this? As much detail as you can provide will be very helpful.

    1. What computer/device do you have?
    2. What OS/iOS?
    3. When does Rush crash? When Rush is launching or when you try to create a project?

    Thanks in advance,

Hi there! You can do create multiple sequences within Rush. Follow these steps:
    1. Open the Project panel, Tap/Click on the box icon next to the blue plus button
    2. Locate the Sequence thumbnail in the Project panel
    3. Tap/Click on the more options menu (...), select duplicate

You can create as many sequences as you need. Please give it a try and let us know what you think.

    Sorry for the delay Amy.

To add a soundtrack please try the following
    1. Tap on the blue plus button (top left corner of the screen below the home button)
    2. Select Media
    3. Select Audio

You should see options to add music from your local library or from the Rush Soundtracks which are included for free

Let me know if you have any additional questions.

    Thanks,

    PG

    Hi!

Sorry for the trouble. Can you please try adding a soundtrack to your project. Once the soundtrack is added, tap on the speaker icon to unmute the track. If that works, do that for each audio track.

Not sure how this happened, but hopefully this will fix the issue and allow you to record a voiceover.

Let us know how if that solves the issue.

    Thanks,

    Hi Colin,

Sorry for the delay. Would you mind sharing this file with me? If iOS supports it should import into Rush on your iPad/iPhone.

You can share it via Creative Cloud, Dropbox, Google drive etc. If you rather not share a link here let me know and I'll send you my personal contact info.

    Thanks!

    Hi there,

What type of media are you trying to import? Does it fail on iOS or Desktop or both? Rush iOS is limited in supporting formats that iOS supports.

Thanks for sharing this file! This was really helpful to reproduce this issue. We’re looking into now and hope to fix the crash and improve performance in an upcoming release.

    Thanks again!

Thanks, for the screen recording. Can you tell me what software captured your hour-long clip? I'll see if I can reproduce it. Better would be if you can share that file with me for testing purposes only. I know it's probably a large file but if you're willing to share it with me that would be really helpful. You can upload it to CC, Google Drive or Dropbox, etc...

    Thanks again for the report.

Thanks for the feedback, Colin. My guess is one of your videos may have been captured at a lower resolution (maybe it was a slowmo clip?). We're thinking about how we can improve this workflow in feature releases.

For now, a quick way to fix this is
    1. Selecting the clip that does not fill the frame
    2. Click on the monitor [you should see a blue box]
    3. Click on the edge of the blue box and drag to resize the image

    or

    1. In the timeline, double-click on the clip that does not fill the frame [this automatically opens the Transform Inspector]
    2. Use the Scale slider to increase the image size

Hope this helps. Thanks again for your feedback!

    Hello,

As Ben mentioned, songs that appear dimmed need to be downloaded to your device before they can be used in Rush. Go to the Music app to download the song.

Songs from an Apple Music subscription cannot be used because they are protected by digital rights management (see details below). In order to use songs from Apple Music, they need to be purchased.

Details about digital rights management (DRM) can be found here:

    Hi Heath,

You can apply any of the transitions to still images. Are you looking for something else?

FYI: Additional transitions can be found in Adobe Stock in the Titles panel, by searching for "transitions". These function differently than the native transitions. They must be added above the video/still image in V2+ tracks.
