HI thanks for the baby steps, but nothing fixes it. Appreciate you have a lot of numpties to care for a processes but I have been doing this for twenty years so can we cut to the real technical troubleshooting please? No combination of settings produced an output from the computer audio outtput in premiere but did in AE. Premiere was still outputting asio to the decklink despite preferences being MME adobe desktop audio in prefs

If you copy the CLIP the settings come with the effect. That is how I grade in AE, as you can't use Tangent properly in AE anymore since they got rid of color finesse

add another monitor. put it below and to the right of your main monitor in display settings. open export dialog and resize the window. ridiculous workaround because Adobe still hasn't figured out how to use hi density displays properly or appreciate that people change monitors! Deleting preferences does not help.

it isn't so hard to paste the clip in, copy the effect and delete the clip in the project window, but I second you request! And add control panel support in AE!

Side note. There needs to be a way to put those time stretched keys back on actual frames if you must keep doing that. It causes a lot of problems down the line.

Thank you for filing this bug report.

We need more information before we can investigate this problem. In simple tests on macOS 10.13.6, I do not reproduce the issue as described.

Can you give us more detail about when and how the problem occurs? A screen recording of the problem may be helpful. The larger picture is that we need to know what state After Effects is in when you encounter this problem.

Thoughts. I upgraded to 2019 before giving the OS (which fcp required). Perhaps reinstalling ae will help

It's a 2011 mbp with a 1gb amd card in, so maybe ae is now using more vram than I have spare. I wish people would suggest possible reasons and causes rather than always ask for a lot of unnecessary info. Something has caused this, so perhaps look into what might cause it, to reduce the plight of others. Other considerations... Rendergarden, aeviewer, and flow running in ae. Chrome open. Cache empty. It is probably a mac problem. But it is ae that is not communicating properly with the window server. Hardware acceleration and gpu rendering off. Laptop lid closed, powered and keyboarded. Latest wacom and drivers. No colour management. 8 bit project. 16 gb ram. Effective immediately on opening AE even after restart. No other spaces open. Full gui probably maximised with apple / so could conflict with dock app.

I do it in the timeline. select the position value and nudge. for pixel perfect workflow it is generally safer. but as an option it could be useful. I personally like being able to zoom in to change increment. I HATE illustrator's way of doing it.
