Hi Mauricio,
Apparently there are a number of folks posting the same issue. I too am included. I've been answering where I can. After speaking with an Adobe Rep on 12/8/2020, the fix is to create a New Project (I'm on 14.7 now) and then CTL-I (Import) the Entire Old Project file. It worked for me. It just creates another project with respective folders. I'm not sure if this works in 14.6. I've seen one person say it didn't. Adobe is planning a fix for 14.8.

Hey Jeff,
Spoke with Adobe Support yesterday. The "fix" for ver 14.7 was to create a new project then CTL-I (Import) the entire old project. Worked immediately. Adobe is aware and are planning a fix for 14.8.

Same here Jeff. Glad I'm not the only one. Windows 10 Pro 64 bit here as well.

Just an update: Yesterday (12/8/2020), i contacted support after same thing happened in 14.7. The fix was to create a new project and then CTL-I (Import) the Entire Old Project. Labels were there in List View. Make sure to have the Labels box checked in Metadata Display. Maybe in 14.8 they'll fix this when opening an old project.

Have you tried making sure the Labels are active? Right-Click the "Name" header in the Bin then select "Metadata Display". Swirl Down the "Premiere Pro Project Metadata" and the "Label" checkbox should be selected.
Please keep in mind that I'm on Win 10Pro and the Labels all display as the color Black in the Bin.
I started my own post on this and am going to Vote for yours as well.BK

Hey Charles,
We're not the only ones. This needs to go,create a pref to turn it off or at least change it to an Export Failed button!Robert Keuler supported this idea ·

Even grabbing the Scroll Bar at the bottom of the sequence loses the display.
CC 2020 is a little better at it, but not by much. Two audio tracks are pretty good, but the grabbing of the clips still does not work. The more tracks you add, the slower the refresh rate. I'm currently working with 25 Standard tracks where all the audio clips are single clip/stereo.
This seems like a job for proper coding for the Graphics Card?
Another thing I don't understand is why the refresh rate is so slow even though waveform files are being generated and stored on your drive?Robert Keuler supported this idea ·

I'm with Andre and Mike on this. It'd be an option that would be greatly appreciated. This is great not just for audio files in different languages under a single piece of video, but even adding broll to video! It'd be like setting up a "poor man's" multiclip sequence.

Been happening to me as well on a Mac Pro. Use the project Monday, open it on Wednesday and most files are offline. Relink A/V files and appear as audio only.
To resolve: I moved the file to the Desktop then moved it back into original folder. Relink and it seemed to work. Looks like a permissions thing. Not sure.Robert Keuler supported this idea ·
