    I second it.
It's not point tracking though, just the mask face tracking.
Either use the tracker from Character animator, or at the very least fix the one in AE.
    It gets slower over time.
I start tracking the shot with 4 maybe 5 frames per second, by the time I get to frame 1000 I'm already down to 3seconds per frame. That's 12 times slowdown in 1000 frames!!!!.
The actual number of tracked frames (keys) seams to matter.
The solution is to divide the clip into several layers and track different parts in different layers, so 0-1000 on layer 1, 1001-2000 on layer 2, 2001-3000 on layer 3.
Each layer holds only 1000 keys at max so it kinda works.
Then you have to copy paste the keys back to layer one which is also very slow, but takes a lot less time than finishing tracking all 3000 frames on layer 1 :/

Not sure why you assume AE is missing only a few megabytes of memory, could be a lot more.
That said a new behaviour would be a nice addition.
How about, reducing the bit depth of the project to 8bit, or stepping down the resolution of the viewer, after clicking OK on the out of memory dialog.
These would immediately halve the memory requirements for the given frame.

Yes, I know, we have intuos4s here, also have one at home. This doesn't change the fact that some people prefer to rotocope using a mouse. The 1 and 2 keys already have a function that activated only in rotobrush. So I figured we can also give a keyboard key an additional function whenever we're in mask editing mode.

Naaah, when it comes to masking or anything that requires pixel perfect precision, tablets suck. Maybe you are able to hold the pen perfectly in place not moving it even a tenth of a millimeter, but I'm not. None of the rotoscopers I know can't also. That's one of the few places where mice are way better, if you don't move your hand, the cursor just stays in place. With a tablet even my pulse moves it :) Besides, ever tried working with a tablet 6-8 hours none stop?

Well, this seems to be happening only on one machine, tested two other and they don't have this bug :/

Yes, and it's a mess. Lists all of the effects used, even built in one's, pretty useless info, doesn't list used fonts at least no all of them, I have 5 fonts used in a project, the report lists only Arial Black which is Not used in this project :/

Agreed, some time ago there was a new feature that said AE can play some video formats directly, without caching - that is bull. I can play 4 2k DPX streams in realtime in Premiere, AE gives me like 8fps. I can play 12-15 HD Cineform streams in Premiere with almost no frame drops, AE will go like 1fps with so many streams. I don't expect the same performance but come on :/

    Yup. +1.
Can't get my editors to render clips like that into separate folders, even though it's just one checkbox in Resolve :/
An option like that would be God send :)

In EXR you can't specify a bitrate or quality level. You can only choose the compression algorithm in option, which both AE an AME support.
