Just updated to Premiere Pro 2023 so v23.0, and obviously the bug it's still there...

I provided the files and the project below months ago, nobody downloaded them

And the bug is still there with the latest 22.6.1, of course...
I feel I'll never trust the export function of premiere again.

I've seen that the bug is more frequent with the HLG files of GH5 and GH5S, they are H265 mp4, probably not related but maybe is of help.
At export wav soundtrack is there and random parts of the dialogue are missing.

thanks for all the workarounds provided,
mine as said is to export wav and reimport then export video again,
    but the truth is:
THIS SHOULDN'T BE HAPPENING IN A SERIOUS SOFTWARE I PAY EVERY YEAR!!!
this is a shame, sometimes we need to export and deliver ASAP, we can't recheck, and now I'm moving all my project elsewhere, but when really I have no alternatives and I have to use Premiere (today I do and I'm on version 22.4) and every time this stupid bug is there, and instead of fixing it you just messed up the export tab...

to FERGUS HAMMOND, here's a link to a project affected: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1eDJDCupGhcmyw2iH0YA6qxwttewpplWD?usp=sharing

I can confirm bug is still there in v 22.3.1 it just carried on from win 10 to win 11, through many updates, reinstall and multiple machines... just terrible...
@ ADMIN Fergus Hammond let me know how to send you proof, because I want to stop to re-watch all my video after exported, sometimes the audio missing is a few second others minutes, so to avoid saying sorry to clients I always have to check them again twice just because the Premiere is URELIABLE: unbelievable.

@Fergus yes I can, the whole project is 16 gb, the export is around 500gb, how do you want to receive it? it just happened again

When exporting a video sequence premiere randomly leaves out part of the audio. Those part were not muted, but in the same channel and of the same kind of other parts exported fine, not even cut: so for instance you have a talker that randomly get the voice silent.
This is a big reliability issue, because there is no correspondence of what you have on timeline and what you are going to have on final export. This happens on different machines and happened also with previous versions of Premiere different from this one at moment of writing 15.4.1 (build 4).
The only reliably working workaround has been export only the single audio channels in wave files and then import it back into the timeline, that is time consuming and unacceptable for a professional software.

    All,

first of all I wanted to thank everyone for making this a productive conversation over the last couple of days.

As several people responded to my comment about keeping the tone civilised, I need to dwell on that for a minute. Please hear me out, this is important to everyone on my crew and I hope it will be to you.

Saying that we shouldn't be surprised when things get heated is very problematic in my opinion. How do you expect a junior person on my team to respond to a technical question when it is combined with something that can easily be described as hate speech? How do you think we can actually come together on actual issues when there's already the assumption that we're a big faceless corporation, not even listening to our customers?

People on my team have received threats. I've been there over the years,…

...and now the export range of the timeline default itself at every new timeline to "entire source"
just another thing to check before export, adding occasions to make a mistake and lose time:
why would someone prefer "entire source" over "source in/out" if just made that selection?
it really seem to me that who's making this changes never used the software, never had to work with it, is just assuming things without thinking who's gonna cope with the result.

This is a very serious issue, we have to check every file throughout knowing that the output could not be as expected. Is this a joke?

    Hi all,

There are two parts to this request:

    1. Ensuring that proxies are created respecting changes that have already been applied to media via Interpret Footage.

    2. Ensuring that changes in Interpret Footage are applied to proxies that have already been created.

The first part was done and is in v23 or later of Premiere Pro and Media Encoder. The second part is being worked on but I don't have a release data to share at this time.

    Regards,

    Fergus
