I don't get it, you can already select multiple clips and put them onto a timeline and they'll be side by side

Thanks for all the feedback. It’s pretty clear that we’ve got to look into the workflow using this format more closely, there are enough reports about gaps at this point to reopen this item. I’ll post more info about next steps shortly. In the meantime, a couple of questions are easy to answer:
- The plugin is designed for Premiere Pro. It currently doesn’t provide support for After Effects.
- It does work with AME, so if you want to use it for batch processing, that’s very doable
- If you’ve started a project with Autokroma, there’s no easy way to transfer it to be running with the new plugin.Patrick

PW this is a BRAW Studio issue, not Blackmagic plugin

We're finishing a few things it should be out very soon

Hi,
The plugins are not compatible between them and it's a BMD plugin bug. You can't open old projects created with BRAW Studio.
It seems out of our hands, but we will study this nonetheless and keep you up to dateAn error occurred while saving the comment Antoine (Autokroma.com) commented
Hi John,
Yes you can ! Please read our article about it https://autokroma.com/blog/Introduction-to-BRAW-Studio/
You shouldn't use Presets but we already made copy paste possible.
Please tell us if it doesn't workAn error occurred while saving the comment Antoine (Autokroma.com) commented

The performance are pretty good. Who here would have an interest in a full GPU solution ? What's the use of decoding 8K at 100 fps ?
Knowing it would only be for previews / timeline editing, not for exports

> According to the press release I read, it is still limited to CPU only.
I think it's hybrid CPU - GPU because of the limitations of Adobe SDK

Thank you John. Blackmagic didn't precise it but their plugin is also working for Media Encoder

Some users of BRAW Studio noticed some lags with latest 1.6.0. Please update to 1.6.1 ! https://autokroma.com/BRAW_Studio/Changelog/
Also after seeing Ross troubles, we updated our F.A.Q. with manual uninstall just in case : https://autokroma.com/BRAW_Studio/User_Guide/#How-do-I-uninstall-BRAW-Studio
But we double checked and our installer should work fineAn error occurred while saving the comment Antoine (Autokroma.com) commented
Hi Ross,
You can uninstall BRAW Studio by going through the installer and ticking the Uninstall BRAW Studio checkbox. It will uninstall even if it's written 'install successful'
If it didn't work here's the process to do so manually :
Delete "Autokroma BRAW Studio" folder in :
(Windows) C:\Program Files\Adobe\Common\Plug-ins\7.0\MediaCore\
(Mac OSX) /Library/Application Support/Adobe/Common/Plug-ins/7.0/MediaCore/Delete folders named "com.autokroma.brawStudioPanelHidden" and "com.autokroma.brawStudioPanelVisible" in this folder :
(Windows) C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\CEP\extensions
(Mac OSX) /Library/Application Support/Adobe/CEP/extensionsBRAW Studio shouldn't interact with PPro other than your crash issue and there is no need to reset preferences. The Adobe employee who helped you only followed a common procedure he repeats with all issues.
We'll test again the uninstall checkbox to see if there's any issue with it.
Regards

Check it out : https://Autokroma.com/BRAW_Studio/An error occurred while saving the comment Antoine (Autokroma.com) commented
Jason Bechtel it might be a faster codec but it can't compare with BRAW because it's not recorded into Blackmagic cameras and you don't have the same color science (all the RAW import params)

Hello,
If you have grey frames it means you still have the trial enabled, you need to purchase BRAW Studio to import more than 500 frames

Hi everyone,
Thanks for the comments on our plugin BRAW Studio https://autokroma.com/BRAW_Studio/
We are working on the OSX port (so you'll be able to have a cross platform workflow) and we will also find a way to import the metadata you talked about directly into PPro (scene / take / shot)
Cheers,
AntoineAn error occurred while saving the comment Antoine (Autokroma.com) commented
For the last comment please submit a bug report about this and we will fix this ! Grey frames are produced when you go over 500 frames in the trial

Do you people need this for Windows or OSX mostly ?
An error occurred while saving the comment Antoine (Autokroma.com) commented
Thing is, the user would need to be able to tweak RAW interpretation settings (color balance, exposure etc...) of the imported footage. It's not just an import issue, there's also some UI to integrate

Great idea. So you would need markers on layers that you will put on their own video track ?

Okay, so equal amount of blank timeline between the end of n and beginning of n+1 ? I'm sure a script could do that easily
