As I was typing this in to add the suggestion, I was THRILLED someone else suggested it as well. Glad to know I'm not alone in this. If I could vote 100 times on this I would!

This really is one of my biggest requests. It seems small, but it really is a big deal when needing to shift your muscle memory for 24fps, 60fps, or 120fps source media when you normally edit in a 30fps timebase.

Adding my vote, it actually USED to be this way in earlier versions:

Metadata Display Presets would save the columns used, but I think workspaces remembered the column position and sizes, so this way you could create a new project and always go back to the metadata as it was displayed exactly each time.

Whether metadata column order and sizes are stored in presets this time or in workspaces again, I'd love to see for this to come back.

An update: I was able to circumvent these keybind restrictions by modifying the .txt file the keyboard shortcuts are saved to.

Yes this happens to me too. I also have reinstalled Premiere and ran the cleanup tool. While it appeared to work briefly, the next time I opened Premiere, even with the same project, it brings back all of the default workspaces that I either hid or removed entirely.
