Same here. This just started recently. Both H264 and H265 high quality automatically turn on "video is VR" when I drag a video to be converted into the Encoder. I trashed Media Encoder preferences to no avail. Now I need to turn it off manually on every conversion.

    Hi John,

Thanks for checking. I tried a few different projects and the minimum framerate under which no playback varies, it was 5 for this particular project, 3 for another and 2 for another. The actual project frame rate is 25. It is a sequence that will end up as a GIF animation at 2 fps, so I thought I'd check it out in After Effects just to discover that it didn't play there.

I already have a perpetual license to R20, and found R22 trial installed on my hard drive without any notification whatsoever. So Adobe installer doesn't even bother to check if there's already a working version installed.

Or then it is related to the ending of Quicktime support. It appears the file can be read up to the 2GB point, then it freezes up. The same issue now exists on After Effects when using .mov file of over 2GB as the source file. I guess it's time to change to a new output file format.
