So I called Adobe tech support why say it's to do with AMD, they told me to speak to Apple and Apple told me to speak to Adobe. Wasted hours of my time on the merry go round.

It only happens with Adobe software!

    Someone has to take responsibility.

Nice to see other people with the same issue. I'm not alone! I have brought it up a lot but no reply from anyone that can help and as it's not a common spec to have it seems to be ignored.

I thought it may be a conflict with a plug in but obviously not.

Any luck? I have now completely fresh installed my OSX to Catalina and fresh instal of Premeire etc .... it's still a big issue. I get a feeling it is to do with the 395X graphics card but being on Apple I have the lastets driver. Possibly because I have a 4Gb RAM model? Because it goes someway with the MP4's before it goes green.

Help Adobe?! It's been really bugging me. I turned off H264 acceleration in Premeire and helped somewhat (but now everything is soooo slow!!) but encoding in Media Encoder with software encoding on it still goes green.

Absolutely, especially as Adobe software has so many bugs 😂

I updated to 2020 and now even if I don't make changes to my AFX file the sequences become unrendered in Premeire - really annoying. If I make a change to once sequence the whole lot become unrendered or offline.

Also, yes the playback speed was a highlighted point from Adobe but this doesn't;t work anymore and is really slow.

    Useless.

A great feature to differentiate between music, VO, draft tracks etc. Also, not so hard to implement I reckon.

Thanks again for the feedback. We have made sure to have created items in our database for all actionable items. We are hoping you will be pleased by some of the changes we have made in future releases. Please continue to engage with us.

Note that in the future, while this list is awesome, it is much easier for us to change status on completed items if they are single entry.

We may close this one eventually but will keep the other individually tracked items open with status

The subtitling in Premiere is not fit for purpose. It need a huge overhaul. Especially in this day and age wee accessibility is so important.

What you’re suggesting would lead to a full on revision of the feature – therefore I’d like to ask a couple of additional questions:
what kind of footage do you usually try to stabilize with the Warp Stabilizer? And how much tweaking of the settings do you do on average?

    Thanks
    Patrick

Here’s an update on where we’re at with including support for ProRes RAW: we’re getting closer to the finish line.

You can expect to see it supported with one of the upcoming releases of Premiere Pro. Expect more details on this towards the end of Q4.

    Cheers,
    Patrick
