This would be a great feature when using the Import Folder feature. I do always organize my media in folder on the HDD before i start the project. One folder for audio, one for video, etc, etc.

So let´s say that i use the Import folder feature in the Import dialog to import evey file in the Audio folder it imports as a bin and will take the name from the folder.

If i then add more audio files to that folder on the HDD it would be great to have the ability to select the bin in the Project panel and then right click on the selected bin and choose Update Bin and Premiere Pro detects the new files and import them into the selected bin. The command should be able to map to a keyboard shortcut.

I use Adobe Encore today and have no issues with it. Export as MPEG2-DVD from Premiere Pro and import it as a Timeline in Encore.

Yes, i would love to have this option in Premiere Pro. :)

It is already aviable in Adobe Media Encoder by going to Edit > Preferences > General and then check the Specify output file destination and select the desired folder and i use that feature all the time.

Since it is already present in Media Encoder i see no reason to not add that feature to Premiere Pro as well. It would be a great feature to have in Premiere Pro.

I found a workaround for this. Make the footage offline and then link/locate the footage again: https://youtu.be/BwRmVxnpzhQ

Still waiting for a fix from Adobe though.

    It sounds great!

The only thing i would like to change is the way date and time is written. I prefer "Smith Wedding_20180621_1505.prproj" iow "Name_YYYYMMDD_HHMM.pproj".

If seconds are added to the time as you suggest, there is actually no problem only a personal preference. I still think that the year should be in the YYYY-format. Is easier when one open an old project when one can see directly what year it is created. "Project_180619_1745.prproj" can in a stressed situation be interpreted as the project was created 2019 instead of 2018.

The time/date option can be added in the Preferences so the end user can decide the preferred formats such as the option we have in Windows: http://privat.bahnhof.se/wb792290/regional.png

To add to my comment under this comment:
The still images are larger than 1920x1080 and i have used the Set to Frame Size and thus scaled down the images. Since i have CUDA enabled the stills are scaled down by the GPU.

So, the recepie seems to be: CUDA enabled, scaled down still, Lumetri Color and using the Whites and/or Blacks. On some images it happens, on some it don´t. I have not yet found out why.

I see the same thing with various still images in a 1080p24 timeline. .tif/.psd/.png, etc does not matter. it goes away if i turn off CUDA or change it to Open CL or Software only. It can be reproduced to 100% on new projects. This image is from a new project created in 12.1.1 #10: http://privat.bahnhof.se/wb792290/cuda-lumetri.png

On my laptop i can switch between CUDA and Open CL, but not on my workstation so i am stuck.

I am working on a large project with hundreds of still images and they have worked before. Some stills show this glitch, some don´t. And yes, as already stated it will show up in the exported media no matter what final codec you use...
