The short answer is that AE doesn't naitvely export .mp4 files (h.264) so we can't create a video preview when the Mogrt is exported :(
So the real request here is to bring back native h.264 exports to AE.

My team has lots of MOGRT with similar details and without a quick and easy way to preview these we spend way to much time finding the correct one. Why isn't AE, Premiere or Bridge able to do this better? This is a 3-4 year old request

Hi everyone,
I’m the product manager for Adobe Media Encoder and I’m excited to tell you that – finally! – we’ve added an Auto Computer Shutdown feature. It is in the bottom left corner of the Queue windows, in the beta of Media Encoder, which you can download using Creative Cloud Desktop (see the Beta section on the left side). Beta versions of our products are completely separate from the shipping versions, so there’s no risk in having both versions installed.
There are a few bugs still in Auto Shutdown. For example, if your Media Encoder job includes an upload to YouTube, we’ll try to shutdown the computer before the upload has completed. The job will continue uploading but then the auto shutdown won’t happen.
However, we’re definitely ready for you to try out this feature and let us know what you think. More information is available here: https://community.adobe.com/t5/adobe-media-encoder-beta-discussions/discuss-automatically-shut-down-the-computer-when-the-ame-render-queue-is-complete/td-p/12386805
Regards,…

Yes, this would be an excellent feature, but this suggestion is being split into several requests and we need to team up.

Put these terms into the search field ("video" "track" "effect" "adjust") and upvote similar requests.
Adding color grading or an effect to a video track would be a massive improvement. Adjustment layers, nest, master clip grade etc. will not do it as smooth in a larger multi cam setup.Terje Bergli supported this idea ·

Here's a link to the old Flash onion skin feature.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=snPgHMc6vzY
Onion skin is excellent to see previous and next frame to adjust the current accordingly. Must have for any serious animation software.
There are multiple and duplicate post request for this feature. Make sure to up-vote everyone or perhaps the admin could join them into one-halleluja-request that will stick.

This is by design. We always keep captions within safe margins (10%). Would an option to defeat this restriction be useful or is it better to remove this safeguard all together. Opinions welcome.
