Please try out the current Premiere Pro Beta, which includes spellcheck for captions and graphics.
You can find beta versions of apps in your Creative Cloud Desktop app. On the left, under Categories, click on Beta Apps. There you can install a separate version of Premiere Pro which does not overwrite your regular installation of Premiere Pro. To provide feedback you can use UserVoice or hop over to the Beta community forum! https://community.adobe.com/t5/premiere-pro-beta/ct-p/ct-premiere-pro-beta?page=1&sort=latest_replies&tabid=all

@Joe White: right-clicking a misspelled word should give you a popup with suggestions. Are you not seeing this? You also have the option to do a Replace All for multiple misspelled words.

    Hi Emile,
Thanks for your feature request! I renamed the post to "Strokes for Essential Graphics Clip Layers" so other users know right away what this is about when browsing through UserVoice. I hope this is ok with you.
The Motion Graphics team has see your request. Strokes for clip layers have not risen to the top of our priorities, but it is still a valid request! So let's see if this gets some more attention through your post.

There is a way to convert Legacy Titles to Essential Graphics. In 22.0 you can select one or multiple Legacy Titles in the Project Panel and then use the commands "Upgrade Legacy Title" or "Upgrade All Legacy Titles" from the top Graphics menu. This will replace the used Legacy Titles in sequences with Source Graphics but keeps the Legacy Titles as a copies in the project panel in case you need to compare the upgrade. In a future version of Premiere Pro you will be able to upgrade all Legacy Titles on project opening.

Please also take a look at our documentation on this:

    https://helpx.adobe.com/premiere-pro/using/upgrade-legacy-titles.html

Google translate: Increase the automatic spindle function
I hope to increase the automatic reel function, import the existing text for voice matching, and hope to optimize the sentence break and punctuation for the subtitles created by the Chinese transcription sequence, which is in line with the Chinese language logic

@Katchouscia, do you know about Motion Graphics Templates created in After Effects? If you use these instead of Dynamic Link comps, you will have so many benefits, one being that you can edit the text in the Text panel (currently in beta)

Translation from google translate: A great prayer do not dismiss the old titler in adobe premiere pro. The new one is complex ALSO CREATES MANY PROBLEMS.

Thanks vito cacucciolo for your post. What problems are you seeing with Essential Graphics?

    Translation:
I want you to be able to expand the display range of automatic telop input
    【Current status】
I have created a subtitle with the caption of the automatic telop, but there is a limit to the range in which the telop is displayed although the frame is displayed.
When you want to enlarge the characters and display them as large as possible on the screen, line breaks occur at the specified positions, limiting the degree of freedom in the display position and range.

In addition, there is a frame such as a telop input range, but when the frame is selected and moved in the horizontal direction, it cannot be moved to the limit in the horizontal direction, and the range in which it can be moved is limited.

    【request】
I want to make the telop larger and widen the width where the telop is displayed, but I want it to be able to be displayed at the intended position.

・ I would like you to expand the range in which telops can be displayed.
・ Please do not limit the movable range of the telop input frame.
└ If there is no limit on the range of movement, the range of animation with telop will expand.

Translation: I want you to be able to partially change the color of the character string in the master style of essential graphics.
When applying the color registered in the master style in advance to the character string of the essential graphics, for example, if there is a character string "Happy New Year", the color part is blue for "Happy New Year" and red for "Congratulations". I want to change it. Currently, if you apply blue to "Happy New Year", "Congratulations" will also turn blue.

Excuse me, but it's no wonder that such a simple specification hasn't been made until now.

Hi! I am a Quality Engineer on the Motion Graphics team. We have added rounded corners to text backgrounds a few releases ago. And great news: We currently have rounded corners for shapes in beta. Check it out and see if you like it!

addition to my earlier post: another workflow would be to use a "Style". In the Essential Graphics panel, select a text layer and open the dropdown menu where it says "Style" and choose "Create Style...". This will create an item in the Project panel. You can then apply this style to any text you add. You can also save this to disk and reimport into any project. As soon as it is in the project it will show up in the Style menu. Right-click the style in the Project panel and choose "Export Text Styles...". What is great: These styles are also applicable to captions in the project!

Hi everyone! I'm a Quality Engineer on the Motion Graphics team. How about creating a template instead? Just create a text, change the font to what you like, right-click and select "Export as Motion Graphics template". Once found in the Essential Graphics panel you can add it to a library or just click on the star to create a favorite for easy access. Then you can reuse that title again and again and again :)

Hi Kelly! I am a Quality Engineer on the Motion Graphics team. This could have different reasons. What kind of computer are you working on? Would you be so kind to send a screenshot of Premiere Pro when you have added a text layer to a sequence and the text is selected in the Program Monitor? Maybe that will reveal something.
Can you please also share the sequence settings used? And finally please check in the Wrench tool of the Program Monitor what your Playback Resolution is for paused and playback is.

I added screenshots of what would be helpful.

Hi Khamaree! Can you expand a little on this? Do you need a way to take notes for graphics or for your edit in general? Curious to hear about your personal user story here.

Hi Justin! I'm a Quality Engineer on the Motion Graphics Team. Thanks for reporting this! I did a quick test and was not able to reproduce this in current builds of Premiere Pro and Adobe Media Encoder. Could you tell me your exact version and build numbers (check the About menu item in each app) and also tell me which OS you are working on? Lastly, please share what your setting is in Adobe Media Encoder General Preferences for Premiere Pro "Import Sequences natively". Thanks!

Hi! I am a Quality Engineer on the Motion Graphics Team. Thanks for your requests! Great to get feedback from users.

    - Mike (my boss btw :)) already clarified that you do indeed have the pen tool to use for Essential Graphics, it's right were you find the rectangle and the ellipse in the tools panel.
    - while there is no line tool with Essential Graphics you can create paths with the pen tool
    - you can create a perfect circle and a square. The trick is to first drag the mouse to draw the shape, then hold down shift.
    - alt-drag to duplicate: that's a good request. Thanks!
    - while we don't have inner strokes with Essential Graphics you do have a way to have a rounded stroke. If you want to set this globally, go through the panel menu at the top of the Essential Graphics panel (menu looks like three dashes), Text Layer Preferences, and there under Stroke Styles change the Line Join to Round Join. If you only want this for a specific layer but not globally, you can find the same dialog when selecting the layer in the Essential Graphics panel, click on the wrench menu of the Appearance section and change the setting there.
-Fill Options: With Essential Graphics you can add linear and radial gradients to shapes and since the latest version of Premiere Pro also to text. Click on the color swatch for Fill and find a gradient dropdown in the Color Picker dialog on the top left.

You can find more info in our user guide: https://helpx.adobe.com/premiere-pro/user-guide.html/premiere-pro/using/essential-graphics-panel.ug.html

Hi Channi! Thanks for your post. While, yes, there is no texture property in the Essential Graphics panel, you can use the mask checkbox, so a clip placed underneath the text shows on the text only. Drag in your clip that is the texture to the Essential Graphics panel from the Project Panel. Make sure the text layer is above the clip layer. Select the text layer in the Essential Graphics Panel, go down to the Appearance section and select "Mask with Text". Btw: for more control you can also add effects to the Essential Graphics panel.
