I’m happy to share that the team has been implementing folders (aka bins) for organization as part of a larger workflow initiative. We should be able to make this available in the public beta builds later this year with the official release following.

If you haven’t already heard, several Adobe applications such as Audition, Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Character Animator, are making daily public betas available to ALL Creative Cloud members. This will give everyone a chance to sneak peek new features and bug fixes, as well as provide feedback and guidance on how those features progress. For more information, please visit https://theblog.adobe.com/introducing-public-beta/ and click the “Beta Apps” section in your Creative Cloud Desktop application.

Why is this missing from Audition??? Makes no sense. This is desperately needed!

We haven’t been ignoring you or your feedback – this is just a particularly complex topic. That said, it’s time for us to check in with you, clarify a few things, and give you an idea of what we’re looking at for the future of After Effects, especially when it comes to performance.

To start, we fully understand that you want After Effects to be as fast as it can be – utilizing your computer’s hardware resources to render as fast as possible. Over the last several years, we have been working on the performance of After Effects constantly. Sometimes those performance gains…

Why do my exports consistently use only 30-50% of my CPU when i'm using CPU only effects? Multi-threading is long overdue with After Effects. Please allow AFX to use all cores like Premiere can.
