Bump up this topic!
I fight with this in every project, since I work in 32-bit almost without exception. Please Adobe, there is no tool for decent grain management at the moment. It's not for film emulation only, every digital camera has noise too we have to match in compositing. Grain overlays are not a way to go in my opinion.Jari Hakala supported this idea ·

Absolutely! I work mostly in ACES and 32-bit. Please upgrade the "Add Grain" plugin.
... but by all means, don't stop there. Everything inside AE should work in 32-bit. -

You can set your own workspaces and rename them. If you mess things up, you can quickly reset the workspace to the last saved state by double click on the title tap. Hope this helps a bit?

I have experienced the same error with few projects - even in the latest version 18.2.1 two days ago. My AE projects don't have anything to do with Premiere - it's not even installed in my Mac.
Practically, I am not able to do camera tracking in AE, if I have worked with the project a while.
Only workaround I have found is to create a new empty project and do camera tracking. Afterwards you can import it into your current work project. Not very elegant. -

More testing: can be any texture map, custom or embedded, any resolution or totally without texture maps.
Ray-trace options are behaving oddly, both in shadows and ambient occlusion.Did not think of this. I am always using colour management and Metal with the GPU. Something is broken here. Toggling the project colour settings may help temporarily.
Can somebody look into this, please?

Found the problem setting. If you turn on Ambient Occlusion with a Raytrace option, the texture disappears. Don't know whom to blame, but this has worked before.

I am happy to say, ProresXQ export has returned to After Effects! (At least in Mac).
Thank you, Adobe. An error occurred while saving the comment Jari Hakala commented
AfterCodecs site says:
Known Limitations:
"Don’t use the ProRes for broadcast. Always test your hardware and software. It’s not an official version of ProRes"That's it then.
Prores XQ is for archival and HDR images. My client want's it, so I need to skip Adobe here.Shame :(

I really miss copying multiple keyframes on multiple layers.
How about when selecting keyframes would copy/paste keyframes
... and selecting layers WITHOUT keyframes would copy/paste layers. Simple content-aware copy/paste function we have already in AE. -

Just found out this bug today. Few hours of roto work and my project is useless after save. VERY DANGEROUS!!
Priority fix Adobe, please!
UP!
Film grain overlays don't do it.
