If I had $5 bucks for every time I've clicked and dragged with the option key in AE after just having come back from Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Premiere Pro I could buy a few shares of Adobe stock.

Have you tried going through Adobe XD?

We already have this for PS to AE. It would be nice to see PS to AE become like PS to Character Animator where it's a live link between the two (when you edit the PS file, the changes show in Character Animator).
AI to AE is tricky in that AI uses multiple objects on a Layer. You can export the AI as a PS on the Illustrator side, but it is an extra step and a second file to keep track of. There's also sending the AI file through Adobe XD. For complex AI files, it can be a bit of a mess on the AE side, but it works and does a great job of converting AI text to AE text and AI objects to AE shapes.

It would be great to see all of the effects able to render at 32-bit color depth. (I have no clue how big of an ask that is, but it would be nice to simply know that you can set your color depth as needed and forget it.)

How does this request differ from the current Pan Behing (Anchor Point) Tool?

Not just Google Drive, but Google Shared Drives. I’d be using this right now if it was available.

It's been years since I've had to use AVCHD in PR and don't remember ever having trouble with it; however, there is definitely something wrong with how CC2019 processes the data. Using Final Cut Pro X to generate Apple ProRes422 (LT) allowed me to work with the footage as expected, but neither Premiere Pro nor Media Encode would play the original files nor transcoded files in sync. All I can say is "Yikes!".
Just re-read the post from Kevin about updating to High Sierra. I'll give that a try.

Good question, Antione. I'd use the feature for quick slide shows and for converting image sequences into video. Currently, I set them up in AE or PR and then send the Comp or Sequence to AME.
As far a 30 second still image a video goes, I could see generating placeholder assets for interactive design. But it would take that specific situation where a finite duration needs to be added to the still outside of programming. If that even makes sense.

Ideally, I'd love to see this take the form of a preference similar to Premiere Pro where the user can specify a duration of still image and/or a preference similar to After Effects where the user can specify a frame rate for image sequences.

Ideally, this functionality would mirror After Effects where the user uses brackets ("[" and "]") and the number sign ("#") to specify the frame number location in the file name as well as the frame number padding. For example, "superfly_[#####]_v02" yields "superfly_00000_v02", "superfly_00001_v02", "superfly_00002_v02", "superfly_00003_v02", etc.

In addition to correctly mapping 24-bit (or greater) white to 8-bit white, it would be ideal for AME to provide access to the 8-bit Color Table like Photoshop File > Export > Save for Web (Legacy...) does.

This action (pressing Shift Home with a clip or clips selected) is correct in CC2019 both with and without "Show Audio Time Units' enabled in the Timeline. If you go back to CS6, this action was incorrectly the same as Go to Next Edit. Users who want to go to the next edit should use the down arrow instead of shift home.

I would put this to use. Although, since this can be done with Airplay under macOS on the desktop with Premiere Pro via the Mercury Playback Engine, I'm not sure how high of a priority this might be for the development team.

Maybe Adobe could pull images from users? Like... Behance or something?
;)
