Have you tried disabling hardware encoding in the export settings? Also please try changing the Video Renderer to Software Only if disabling hardware encoding didn't resolve the issue.

Is this in reference to the ability to import DV sources on a Mac M1 system or are you referring to the ability to do DV capture?

Thanks, that's very informative. Could you tell me more about the sources? Can you repro with just transcoding a single file? And if so, would you be able to share that source? I have a NAS with an AFP connection that hasn't reproduced the issue so far. If it's not a single source can break the project down in to a smaller version that will still repro the issue and share it? If we can get a repro in-house it will make it much easier to determine the root cause.

Thank you for the additional information. So two things:
    1. What networking protocol are you using to connect to the NAS (SMB, AFP, NFS)?
    2. Do you see the same freezing at the end if you export the file without audio? We're trying to determine which step of the export is having the problem and this should let us know if the muxer is involved.

Thank you for the report. I'm logging a bug now and we'll investigate. If you could provide me with a few more details that would be really helpful:
    * What NAS are you using?
    * What OS/version are you using
    * Is hardware accelerated encoding enabled for the file that doesn't work? If so, does disabling it fix the issue?

We are tracking issues with screenrecordings from macOS and have fixed many of them already. If you have a file that is experiencing issues still in the latest release then I think the next step would be to get a sample for our development team to look at. If you can upload a file here (https://www.dropbox.com/request/kG29iDZSYDha1xsHHmRL) we can investigate.

Thank you for your report. Premiere Pro no longer supports importing or exporting FLV files so you are seeing the correct behavior. If you point me to the page on our website where you saw the incorrect information I will have it changed. On a positive note, Adobe Media Encoder should still be able to import your FLV files so you can convert them to a different format.

If you could share a file that would be really helpful. So far I haven't been able to reproduce any issues with OBS files I have here. Could you also please elaborate on the exact issue. Are you not able to import the files or is this an issue with playback?

Brad can you tell me a little more about what is happening when it doesn't work? We addressed this bug some time ago but if there are cases where it is still failing we'd like to fix them.

I should have marked this Completed but I'll hold off for now until we can figure out what's going on with your workflow.

Support for Canon RAW Light files from the Canon 1DX Mk III has been added to the beta builds of Premiere Pro and is available now if you're interested in trying it out.

    Couple questions:
    * What version of macOS are you currently on. I was not able to repro this issue on macOS 10.14.6
    * If you re-name the file and don't manually enter the extension it should be added automatically. While I understand this would be a departure in what you've done in the past I would expect the results to be the same. Is that your experience as well?

Thank you for the report. We have fixed issues of this nature with the release of Premiere Pro 2020, but it is unclear from your report which version you are using. The title mentions Premiere Pro 2020 while the actual report notes the version is 13.1.5. Can you please confirm if you have tried working with these files in Premiere Pro 2020? If you have and it is still crashing then I would like to perhaps work with you offline to better understand the issue and perhaps look at a sample file so we can further resolve any lingering issues.

Are you using the plug-in available from BlackMagic? If so, you may need to reinstall the plug-in. I have confirmed it does indeed work with this release.

Do you have any effects applied to the media during playback? Or can you reproduce this issue just by playing the media in the Source Monitor? Also, what resolution is your playback setting at?

If you are referring to the video playback being black then it may be that the video codec is not supported. What are the properties of the source media you are trying to import?

Can you please confirm what version of Premiere Pro you are using? We fixed a bug in this area with the 13.1.3 update. If your version of Premiere is up to date and you are still seeing this bug we may need to do some more investigation to see why there are still problems.

Saul, could you please close Premiere, clear the media cache, then try importing those files again?

The media cache can be found here:
    Mac: /Users/%username%/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Common
    Win: \Users\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Common\
More details can be found here:

What OS are you on? There is a known issue in 10.11 that can cause some files to come in as audio-only. One workaround is to update the OS to 10.12 or higher then clear your media cache.
