It's shocking that this isn't a feature. Seems lieka no brainer - be able to drag out the clip and it creates loops beyond the out point - Like you can in Garage Band with audio. Then in the Speed/Duration settings you should be able to cycle or pingpong, or crossfade and apply number of frames to fade through.

Cool, you'd need options to workout the hierachy of FX layering. So you'd have a group FX or Track FX layer in the effects hierachy on each clip and a default/option would be set on the track FX - i.e. a 'render before clip FX' toggle.

An example would be if you had a red giant effect on a single clip, and you wanted that effect to be graded with the track FX. the clip FX needs to be rendered first and the Track FX second. If you wanted to add a red giant effect, but you didnt want it effected by the track grade, it would have to be rendered after the track FX.

This also needs to be implemented on the cross dissolve transitions as the linear dissolve is not smooth like it is when you have linear compositing unchecked.

Yeah the math on the cross dissolve transition with linear enabled is ugly. I get that it's fading in a linear fashion, i.e. a 25 frame X dissolve would have the 24th frame at 5% opacity, but this transition should not be linear, or give us an option to ease the transitions like I have requested in the past! an ease would fix this.

I have pushed for a request to have auto scroll when playing audio wave forms back in the source monitor. Currently it doesn't scroll along when you play them when zoomed in, would need to so this also when playing audio/video together in monitor. The source monitor needs some serious love.

I can't believe this still hasn't been addressed in PP... It seems like such a no brainer.
