I agree with Micah, it should not delete while remaining in the sequence. I would however like a dumby or offline clip in the sequence if I delete its source. So I could find the deleted clip again if I needed to.

Previewing at half resolution will make it look like this in the program window when in reality it is covering the frame. Does the issue persist on export?

Use your modifier keys to open a bin in place. Alternatively you can set the default to open in place in the general preferences.

I just got around to watching this video. Does this behave differently if you have your clips in the same Window as your project? In this video your source bin is a separate OS window. Might help them narrow it down.

You can keybind open in source monitor or eight coick a clip and open it in source monitor. But yah... It should work.

You can set your timeline scrolling to smooth scroll instead of page scroll in the preferences.

I think loudness normalization at the clip level would be amazing. Using RMS to measure it however would ignore advances in perceptual algorithms that take frequency and time into account.

If you're having trouble matching the variables Jim mentioned, then an easy way is to create a sequence from your prores clip by dragging it to the new sequence icon in the lower right hand corner of the project panel. You might be able to right click and 'make a sequence from clip" as well, but I'm not in front of a machine to check.

Woah, nice insights. While we're at it If we could copy any bin and metadata arrangement as a csv that would be pretty cool. Oooh, and view a sequence as a bin. This would then give us music cue reporting!!
