Say you have three layers with trapcode particular on them. Imagine just selecting the layers, and in the Effects panel you can just change one property on all three by sliding/typing it in. That's it, done.

I'm very excited to announce that keyframe color labels, along with a new design for keyframe selection, are now available in public beta!
You'll need to update to version 22.5.0 Build 18 or later to get access. Learn more here: https://community.adobe.com/t5/after-effects-beta-discussions/welcome-to-keyframe-color-labels-in-ae/td-p/12927209
Thank you for all your input. Please give the beta a try and let us know how it's working for you.

More information:
I import a sequence of images (not an image sequence, as I want them individually). I've tried through Media Browser, through drag-drop into Bin, and drag-drop onto Timeline. 12.x and 13.1 both will randomly pick which images they want to reference. These images were output from Illustrator using the Export As..., with Artboards. They are 4501x2251, which Illustrator defaults with "Medium" resolution.
Furthermore, picking "Small" resolution resulted in a proper 1080p, but then every image referenced one, and not even the first one.
Using a PNG solved the issue, but with JPG the above happens.
