    Hey Gabi, are you trying to make it so you can change the walk style of your character with a keyboard trigger? If so, we now have something called Replays which are takes you can apply to a trigger. You can put these in a Swap Set(might want the triggers set to Latch) and then have the ability to change your character's Walk live. You're also not limited to the Walk styles. You can mix in any of the other parameters in the Walk behavior too. (crediting Dan R for the coaching)

    Realized we didn’t get you a full answer. Got this from our lead QE:

    We don’t support grouping the Controls panel tiles at this time. This user could work around this issue though by using Replays inside of a trigger.

    i.e., they have a 5 frame scowl and a 3 frame smoke coming out of the ears animation they want to trigger with the M key.

    • Create a trigger (name it mad)
    • Assign M key
    • Put a trigger for their 5 frame scowl and 3 frame smoke animation into the timeline
    • Select both triggers>Create Replay and add to trigger(or whatever the name is)

    You can drag triggers onto each other so that, when tied to a single trigger control in the Controls panel, they'd all trigger. Would that help?

    Hi there,

    Am I understanding you correctly? Do you want to make your own character and rig it with the attributes and behaviors you choose? If so, you can build your own characters in Photoshop or illustrator, you just have to follow our naming convention for the things we track like head, eyes, eyelids, eyebrows, nose, mouths, arms, legs, body, etc and organize the layers accordingly. You can also just add the appropriate tags to your layers in the Character Animator rigging workspace. You can put as many or as few of these things as you want into your puppet. You can find a video below on creating your character. You can work with any brushes you like, including Kyle’s.

    Hey all,

    In the recent release of Animate, under File→Publish Settings→Other Formats→SVG Image (checkbox)→Options, there is now a checkbox “Optimize For Character Animator”.

    Using it, you can export an SVG image that Character can import, that will have a layers structure that works well in Character. While you can’t yet export an SVG sequence from Animate, right now you can get the image from Animate to Character with minimal clutter and add rigging to it for performance. Let us know if this is helpful and what you want to see happen next!

    You can resize audio tracks vertically to show more of the waveform. We don't have any additional visualization on puppet or scene tracks. What sort of track height adjustment would be useful for puppet/scene tracks?

    In Version 2.0, would tagging those handles with the new Transform tag, then exposing the Position X/Y parameters as controls that are mapped to MIDI help?

    In After Effects scale your scene to something small like 160 x 120 and then, in another comp, scale the scene back up to large using draft quality.
