    Hi all,

Thank you for reporting this issue. As mentioned by Douglas Waterfall in the comments below, a fix for this issue is available in After Effects (Beta) build 42 or later. Please download the latest Beta from the Creative Cloud app and let us know if the fix is working for you as well.

If you do experience any issues with After Effects (Beta), please report them on the Beta forums that are accessible via "Report a bug..." or "Visit the community..." when you click on the Provide Feedback button ( which looks like a speech bubble ) in the upper-right corner of the After Effects (Beta) UI.

Thank you again for reporting this issue,

    - John, After Effects Engineering Team

Thank you for reporting this, and for those of you on the beta program, there is a fix for this now available in Beta 22.4 build 42.

The problem was not specific to the first or last character of the story - those were just the most obvious cases - as it would "stick" in other places as well but it was possible to wiggle out of those and get it unstuck.

I tested the fix with all the cases I could think of but of course that might not cover your own experience - I would appreciate knowing of any continuing failures.

Niklas, I am unable to repro this behavior in a current build.

So...it either got fixed somewhere OR I have failed to reproduce your steps properly.

To prove that its is the latter - would it be possible for you to send me a AEP file which demonstrates this?

    Thanks!

Hi. I have a solution for RTL Text Animation now deployed in Beta 22.3.0 (89).

Here is the forum writeup: https://community.adobe.com/t5/after-effects-beta-discussions/feature-focus-text-animator-support-for-bidirectional-text/td-p/12783326

It would be most helpful to me and the team to ensure we get it right for those experienced in RTL workflows to try it out and help us understand what I missed.
