    I am in the same boat, dealing with this issue exactly one year to the day. Except I’m trying to go in the opposite direction. I can read regular XML files, but the moment I tried to use FCPXML files which support data in titles, the data is lost and I get a bunch of empty titles. When they get round tripped through After Effects, the files lose all titling data and in and out points, which is been extremely frustrating.
