An error occurred while saving the comment Hi Josh - so glad you are enjoying the Extended Viewer addition! You are not the only one who has sent in this request, and I will definitely add your vote to the pile. But I am also happy that you have already figured out the workaround - as long as you have Draft 3D enabled, you will see all layers outside the comp boundary.
Thank you for your feedback!

An error occurred while saving the comment Jono, it's a good point. The 4-color Gradient effect does have Blending Mode options, so at least you can use that instead. But it's not as quick a setup when you just need that basic 2-color gradient. I'll add it to the feature request list. Thanks!

An error occurred while saving the comment Interesting point Henning. I'm betting it was set up this way to make sure you can safely save your current project before anything gets overwritten or lost by accident. But whether this could happen after that dialog to choose a new project comes up is a good question.

An error occurred while saving the comment Hi Kathy,
We have some fixes in the current beta build that may help you out. Could you give that a try, and let us know if it fixes your issue? To access the beta, log into your Creative Cloud app, and you will see a 'Beta apps' category on the left hand side. The AE Beta can be installed alongside your regular AE version, and you should be able to open your project in the beta as well.
An error occurred while saving the comment Hi Kathy, thank you for reaching out. I'll get this forwarded on to our QE team for testing. Can they reach out to you if they need more details?

An error occurred while saving the comment Hi Laszlo, sorry to hear this. Did you see the folder for "Adobe After Effects Auto-Save" created next to your project, or did that not happen?
I'll forward this on to our QE. If you are able to share the project with us, that may help them to diagnose what is happening. Which version of AE are you using?

Niklas, could you send us an AEP file that demonstrates the issue so we can try and reproduce it?
An error occurred while saving the comment Hello Niklas, thanks for your report. I'll forward this on to the team and see if we can figure out what is going on.

An error occurred while saving the comment Thank you for highlighting this issue around the flags for ACES with OpenEXR files. At the moment, After Effects is not fully ACES compliant, but we are working on a better solution. Please stay tuned!

An error occurred while saving the comment That makes a lot of sense Jan, adding to to the feature requests. Do you know by any chance whether it works this way in other tools that you are using?

An error occurred while saving the comment Hello Onur. Great list of ideas. We have a number of these covered in feature requests that I will add your vote to. I also want to make sure you know about Essential Properties, as they may help with your request to define your own set of groups or properties. They can be really useful for cutting down on how much you have to dig for a specific control: https://helpx.adobe.com/si/after-effects/using/essential-properties.html

An error occurred while saving the comment Hi Allison, very sorry to hear you are having troubles getting through. As far as I know, the quickest way to reach Support is to click on your avatar in the upper right of the Creative Cloud app, and go to the 'Contact us' page. You can also find the Contact Us chat option by scrolling down on this page (https://helpx.adobe.com/support/after-effects.html), hopefully they will be able to help.
Thanks for moving this over here Frank so more folks can add their vote to the feature
