This is not a bug, it’s as designed. We specifically limit the visibility to one track at a time to avoid accidentally burning in multiple tracks. Also, when exporting to a format that only supports one captions stream like SRT or STL, we need to know which is the active track in order to export the correct track.

But I understand why you might need two tracks visible at the same time.

    Multiple speakers:
If we could automatically identify speakers and designate a style associated with them, would that help? For example speaker 1 is blue and on the left, speaker 2 is yellow and on the right?

    Multiple languages:
Do you ever need to burn in both at the same time or is it just a matter of being able to see both to aid in translation and alignment?

Thanks for the feedback, we really are listening :)

Yes, the program requires this in order to work smoothly and without worrying about viewing frames. I fully support it. What is the peculiarity of decoding in the FCX program? Why not make Premier the fastest program for rendering and cursory viewing of clips on the timeline forward and backward. Now it is generally a problem to rewind the video in the opposite direction.

    Brooks O'Kelley, Hello.
Everything should be fine in the latest version 15.4 Premier. I personally tested it. Why you can't do it, most likely different versions of Premiere and After Effects. Check on the official Adobe website.

Hello. In update 15.4, it was fixed. I checked it myself and did a Promo in conjunction with AE. The dynamic link works and is interrupted as it was before. I have been going back to the project in Premiere for several days now and the link is always active and there is no need to link with AE.

I support the author of the post and everyone who is waiting for the clarification of this function. I still don't know how to configure it correctly in order to correctly make a color selection. And imagine you paint your skin tone and how it affects your assessment. It's time to fix this and there should be nothing that restricts your work. We are waiting waiting waiting

Developers, let's slowly create Premiere on a new engine or anew without unnecessary garbage. This is not an option, small fixes that will simply discourage the desire to use such a much-vaunted (professional) video editing tool. Error after error and crashes are a crash.

This is a known issue that we haven’t been able to tackle yet, unfortunately. I’ve increased the priority and will ensure that the fix will be in the next release (I’ll post here once the fix is available in the beta builds). My apologies for the inconvenience.
