An error occurred while saving the comment Ricky, can you share more information? Version of Premiere Pro, operating system, etc? I ask because this isn't a problem we're aware of.
Thanks. -

Hi Paul,
We have made the change you suggested. You can try it out in the beta version of v23.4 (there's no problem with having both the beta and shipping versions of our products installed at the same time) or you can wait until next month when it will be included in the next release.
Thanks very much for the suggestion!

Fergus

Sorry for the late reply! I love your idea and I've submitted a request that we implement it.

An error occurred while saving the comment Hi Alex,
Does this video help?
Premiere Pro does support the color space the iPhone is using when recording in HDR; Karl's video explains how to take advantage of this.

Hi everyone,
I’m the product manager for Adobe Media Encoder and I’m excited to tell you that – finally! – we’ve added an Auto Computer Shutdown feature. It is in the bottom left corner of the Queue windows, in the beta of Media Encoder, which you can download using Creative Cloud Desktop (see the Beta section on the left side). Beta versions of our products are completely separate from the shipping versions, so there’s no risk in having both versions installed.
There are a few bugs still in Auto Shutdown. For example, if your Media Encoder job includes an upload to YouTube, we’ll try to shutdown the computer before the upload has completed. The job will continue uploading but then the auto shutdown won’t happen.
However, we’re definitely ready for you to try out this feature and let us know what you think. More information is available here: https://community.adobe.com/t5/adobe-media-encoder-beta-discussions/discuss-automatically-shut-down-the-computer-when-the-ame-render-queue-is-complete/td-p/12386805

An error occurred while saving the comment Ah, re-reading the comments, I noticed this one from Nick West:
"and a notification, email or app, when your jobs have completed please."
Guess what we're working on next? ;-) That one is not quite ready for a public beta but it's very close. Quick question for you all:
Would you prefer to get a notification when each job completes? Or just when the final job in the queue completes? Personally, the way I use Media Encoder, I only want to know about the last job (and I don't want hundreds of notifications when I'm doing a big batch of jobs) but I'm wondering what you'd prefer. We might be able to do both but if it's one or the other, what would you prefer?
Thanks,

An error occurred while saving the comment Hi Adam,
The Assembly workspace should not look like what you're describing. It should like the image I've enclosed. Are you able to make changes to the Assembly workspace then save those changes, using the menu to the right of the workspace title?

An error occurred while saving the comment Hi all,
In April 2020, we announced that we were making Team Projects available to all Creative Cloud customers:
We have decided to continue this offer. While I don't have information to share today regarding our long term plans to make this change permanent, we know that collaboration is very important to many of our customers. We'll have more to share about this later in the year.
And, as product manager at Adobe of video and audio cloud workflows, I'm always interested to hear how our customers would like to collaborate and how we can help. Reach out to me if you'd like to talk one-on-one.
Thanks!
Yannis,
Would you please tell us what OS you're using, what hardware (CPU and GPU), and what version of Premiere? It would also be helpful to know exactly what settings you're using that do not appear to use hardware encoder and what settings you are using that do.
Thanks.
