    All,

first of all I wanted to thank everyone for making this a productive conversation over the last couple of days.

As several people responded to my comment about keeping the tone civilised, I need to dwell on that for a minute. Please hear me out, this is important to everyone on my crew and I hope it will be to you.

Saying that we shouldn't be surprised when things get heated is very problematic in my opinion. How do you expect a junior person on my team to respond to a technical question when it is combined with something that can easily be described as hate speech? How do you think we can actually come together on actual issues when there's already the assumption that we're a big faceless corporation, not even listening to our customers?

People on my team have received threats. I've been there over the years,…

Here is the Adobe youtube video with highlights to new export window and check the comments. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5q0MTIqHPmA&ab_channel=AdobeVideo%26Motion

I bought Davinci 2 years ago and couldnt find time or motivation to start learning it. Thank you Adobe, now I have motivation. You truly showed that professional editors aren't anymore your main target. Probably you are geared towards less experienced editors.

Seriously I cant understand who are the users that told you this new export is a nice step forward. I talked with around 30 editors and none of them liked the new export window since basically you have to do more work in order to export and it does not improve anything. If you are pro editor you cant just upload to youtube without checking your final export, because we all know sometimes it might not render properly some effects will look differently in final render. I understand that this is very easy for a lot of youtubers who have to edit a video every single day, this will save them a lot of time but for people who work on bigger projects who cant afford to make any mistake in final render this entire Export is not friendly at all.
Patrick wrote "Reducing mouse mileage and reducing cognitive load was a primary target" but my experience and other people experience says contrary. Please at least consider bringing bitrate somewhere on a more top level since its a very important setting which I always either change it or need to make sure what bitrate I have. Thank you.

I am not a designer but here are some examples. I think your teams can definitly create something which will look better and maintain same theme with this purple color.

I fully understand why Adobe wants to maintain a color theme for the apps witin video audio editing category but it would be helpful if there was a better visual difference. For example there can be a line at the bottom of the logo with different colors or at the top or the letters might be different colors but the cube itself will be purple same way. That will still keep them in the same design family but with more distinct differences between themselves.

We definitely need this feature. This is the only way you can open another version of project and not get confused which one is which. Which sequence is from which project. Also when you have Rough Cuts sometimes you can get confused and edit not the latest version just because you opened it for a second and forgot to close. There are so many use cases for sequence colored tabs.

Under Review  ·  Durin G (Adobe) responded

Unfortunately, I need to change the status of this feature request. While we anticipated being able to share the new Projects feature in our Public Beta release, for which Bins were a component, the realities of the pandemic and related business priorities required the Audition team to focus efforts on other ongoing projects. At this time, I cannot provide an estimated date when Bins or related organizational features may be introduced to the Audition session format.

Part of the reason why I stopped managing podcasts in Audition and now I am only editing the tracks. Maybe for people who is using Audition for a long time its not a big of a deal "you can create folders under the OS and have multiple projects with different episode version (in order to not clutter project with files) But for people who uses folder structure in other softwares (like Premiere) it is vital to organize it. Seriously inside Premiere I have only one project file with all ads past episodes in case I want to embed something in the future ones, different version of the same episode, and much much more. Thats like 150+ files organized in folders by dates\episodes\rooms...

I agree this is a must have functionality but for the time I am using Excalibur plugin. It has a price (75) but belive me I am using it hundres of times per day (adding any effects or creating shortcuts for specific effects) or fill frame Its awesome but I wish Adobe would bring shortcut natively to effects and presets.

I agree. I understand that for Audio editing there is Audition but for most cases Premiere is enough. What I want is the ability to quickly hear the audio without Effects and with the effects. What I am doing now is I am copying the same audio track on top of the track with FX and delete all the FX so I solo each of them to compare but thats just too many actions for a simple thing. A simpler workaround would be to edit all your tracks in Essential Sound create a preset and then click "clear audio type" the thing is for some of the projects essential is not good sometimes the effects do not activate loudness normalization will disable as soon as you cuta clip and a lot of other small things.
