Hi Michael-
Thanks for the report. We have not been able to reproduce this crash so far. Is this on Win10? What’s the Spectral Resolution in Pref>Spectral Displays? If you are on Windows, is Use hardware acceleration for drawing enabled or disabled in Prefs>General. Thanks!

This is on Windows 10. Hardware acceleration is checked, and Spectral resolution for Frequency display is 16384 (max). I like it super close in. I also noticed after posting this, that the new Photoshop is freezing, when cropping, but it only seems to do it, when the crop tool is already selected when i open the file. If i select the marque tool and then select the crop tool, it doesn't freeze. Also, brand new behavior in 2021, that i didn't see in
2020. Not sure if that's related, but both being graphics related, i thought i'd mention it. Oh, and like i said, i have a Radeon R9 390, which is a bit older, but still has 8gb of memory and has performance that exceeds you guys' minimum recommendations. For system memory i have 64gb.michael faith
